Governor Alex Otti has assured the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) of Abia State's full support for the nationwide data verification exercise aimed at updating revenue allocation indices across Nigeria.

The Public–Private Partnership and Investment Promotions (PPP&IP) Office is looking for a creative, strategic, and professional Digital Marketing Specialist to elevate our digital presence, promote investment opportunities, and drive stakeholder engagement.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Content: Develop digital marketing strategies, manage content calendars, and create engaging multimedia content (graphics, short-form videos, captions).

Public Engagement: Manage official social media platforms, monitor online interactions, and maintain a positive, protocol-sensitive institutional tone.

Reputation & Branding: Enhance public trust and investor confidence through consistent branding and digital campaigns.

Analytics: Monitor performance, analyze digital metrics, and prepare periodic reports.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, IT, or any relevant discipline. (Professional certifications are an added advantage).

Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, PR, or communications. Experience within public institutions or development organizations is desirable.

Portfolio: Applicants must provide a digital portfolio or links to previous work (social media pages managed, designs, videos, or content samples).

Governor Alex Otti has praised the efforts of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers to deepen insurance awareness and increase insurance pe*******on across Nigeria.

Receiving a delegation led by NCRIB President Ekeoma Ezeibe, the Governor highlighted the importance of insurance in protecting individuals, businesses, and investments from unexpected risks. He welcomed the launch of the Insurance Pe*******on Initiative in Abia and pledged support for efforts that promote financial security and economic growth.

Abia was selected as the pilot state for the initiative in recognition of the administration’s developmental achievements and commitment to economic transformation.

The visit also featured the participation of National Insurance Commission, whose leadership reaffirmed support for expanding insurance awareness and consumer protection across the state.

Recognized by Guardian Nigeria as one of the 50 Distinguished Nigerians of Merit, Chibueze is the visionary Founder & CEO of LearnFactory Nigeria, the first tech training hub in Southeast Nigeria (Aba).

Governor Alex Otti has commissioned the ultra-modern Prof. Nnenna Oti Central Bus Terminal in Umuahia a landmark transport hub designed to transform mobility, improve traffic management, boost commerce, and enhance commuter comfort in the State.
Named after Nnenna Oti in recognition of her integrity and courage during the 2023 elections, the terminal stands as a symbol of the New Abia and the government’s commitment to world-class infrastructure.

The facility accommodates over 340 buses and features modern amenities including shops, restaurants, public conveniences, commercial spaces, and accessibility provisions for persons living with disabilities.

This project further reflects Abia State’s strategic investment in sustainable transport infrastructure, urban renewal, and economic development.

Healthcare transformation continues in Abia!

Governor Alex Otti has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the historic 100-bed Okpuala Ngwa General Hospital and commissioned the newly rebuilt Government Cottage Hospital, Umuihie, in Isiala Ngwa.

The projects reaffirm the administration’s commitment to accessible, quality healthcare, improved infrastructure, and sustainable development across Abia communities. The upgraded facilities will provide modern medical services, emergency care, diagnostic support, and improved healthcare access for residents.

Governor Otti also commissioned key road projects in the area, further boosting connectivity and economic growth.

Innovation meets empowerment in Abia!

Governor Alex Otti has unveiled the ₦306 million NKATA Tech-Enabling Business Grant to support businesses across all 17 LGAs of Abia State.

The initiative, powered through ATSAC, will help businesses access technology tools, mentorship, automation, AI solutions, and digital support to drive growth, create jobs, and reduce poverty.

Rather than cash handouts, the programme focuses on sustainable investment in productivity, innovation, and long-term economic value.

Abia is building a future where businesses thrive, youths are empowered, and innovation drives development.
