DAY 3 ACTIVITY REPORT: MEDICAL FITNESS AND SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NEWLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES .

THE FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE ABIA STATE COMMAND COLLABORATED ALONGSIDE SISTER AGENCISES TO EVALUATE SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS

The Federal Fire Service Abia State Command collaborated alongside sister agencies to evaluate shortlisted applicants.The primary focus of the day was to complete medical physical fitness assessment and biometric data capturing for verification.

Out of 205 expected applicants, 201 successfully completed the process , while 4 were marked absent.

The breakdown of the screening exercise is as follows:
Commissioned recruits: 117 total (115 captured, 2 not captured)
Non commissioned recruits: 89
(86 captured, 3 not captured)

Breakdown by Agencies;
Nigerian Security And Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC): 57 candidates
Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS): 65 candidates
Federal Fire Service (FFS) 45 candidates
Nigerian Correctional Service(NCOS): 34 candidates

The exercise ended at 1700 hrs.

SCREENING DAY2 RECRUITMENT AND SCREENING EXERCISE IN ABIA STATE.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE ABIA STATE STATE COMMAND, PARTICIPATED IN A JOINT CDCIFB MEDICAL FITNESS AND SCREENING EXERCISE.

Federal Fire Service (FFS) Abia State Command, participatied in a joint CDCFIB medical fitness and screening exercise at Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) headquarters in Umuahia.

The team was led by SF Amali, alongside officials from Immigration, Correctional Services, NSCDC, and the board.

A total of 228 recruits were scheduled for screening, with 222 captured and 6 absent. The breakdown of captured recruits by service is:
Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS): 95 candidates
Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC): 47 candidates
Federal Fire Service (FFS): 42 candidates
Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOS): 38 candidates.
The exercise was concluded at 1700 hrs.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE ABIA STATE COMMAND PARTICIPATED IN CDCFIB MEDICAL FITNESS SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2024/2025 RECRUITMENT

The State Controller ACF Onyendi Juliet Ihuoma participated in the commencement of the Medical and Fitness Screening Exercise held at Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Umuahia.

Following the address delivered by Odimba Chukwuemeka the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, the host of the screening exercise.

The State Controller of the Federal Fire Service (FFS),ACF Onyendi Juliet Ihuoma also addressed shortlisted applicants on the importance of discipline, decorum and compliance with all instructions issued by screening officials.

The event was attended by heads, representatives of the participating services, including the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) and Mr Mohammed Sani from Ministry of Interior.

Applicants underwent measurements of height, weight, and other vital parameters, including blood pressure checks, to ascertain their suitability and fitness for service.

A total of 147 candidates drawn from the Federal Fire Service (FFS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) had been successfully screened.

The Service Chiefs wished all applicants success and encouraged them to continue to exhibit discipline, patriotism, and respect for constituted authority as they progress through the recruitment exercise.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE, ABIA STATE COMMAND SENSITIZES ABIA STATE NYSC MAMI MARKET UMUNNA BENDE ON FIRE SAFETY AND THE USE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

The Federal Fire Service, Abia State Command has educated the Abia NYSC Mami Market community on fire safety and the correct use of fire extinguishers.

The exercise was headed by ASF11 Inah Eteng Samuel.

There were practical demonstrations witnessed by the NYSC State Director, heads of Sister agencies, and the Camp Officials.

The initiative underscores the service commitment to building a fire conscious society through continuous Sensitization and capacity building programs.

The State Controller Federal Fire Service,Abia State Command, ACF Onyendi Juliet Ihuoma attended Grand finale of the third year anniversary cerebration of His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. along side heads of sister agencies.

The ceremony was held at Umuahia Township Stadium 10am prompt.The memorable event marks his three years of transformation: "impacting lives and shaping the future".

The event futured, parade by Abia State Nigerian Police Force,musics, comedy and Goodwill messages for the great transformation in Abia state.

The ceremony was held at Okpara square in Umuahia the state capital.The milestone celebration is dedicated to thanksgiving and appreciation to God almighty for His grace,guidance and faithfulness throughout the past three years of purposeful leadership and transformational governance in Abia State.

The event featured musics, sermon and prayers for continuity,it also served as moment gratitude, support and commendation for great work done in Abia state.
