I commend Senator Barry Mpigi for attracting the Federal University of Environment and Technology to Koroma/Saakpenwa, in Tai LGA, Ogoni Rivers State. This is a significant development for our region, and I appreciate his efforts.

I also acknowledge President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership and commitment to our nation's progress. His Renewed Hope vision for a better Nigeria is inspiring, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact of his administration.

Furthermore, I have been following up close the comments by some enemies of Ogoni who are against the location of the University. I must say that I am disappointed, but not surprised, by their negative reactions.

The senator has indeed written his name in the Ogoni golden book of history, and posterity will always remember him and his generation, even those yet unborn, for this monumental achievement. His legacy will live on, inspiring future generations to strive for greatness.

As a proud supporter of Ogoni's development, I strongly believe that the University's location in Koroma/Saakpenwa is a blessing for our people. It will bring opportunities for education, employment, and growth, which will have a positive impact on our community.

Let us ignore the distractions and negativity from those who do not wish us well. Instead, let us come together to support this project and ensure its success.

Instead of you to embark on that fruitless venture, train your sisters or female cousins in school. The return on investment is better.

Because you have a savior complex, you want to pay school fees for 4 years and send upkeep money so you will be the centre of her world and expect her loyalty as an expression of her gratitude but you're wrong.

As a student, she will cheat on you on her fellow jobless students while you're still paying her fees. When she graduates, she will go for NYSC and meet young male corpers with very bright futures and around her age range. She will prefer to gamble with growing with someone like that than end up with an old man like you.

If she doesn't leave you then, during and after her service year she will be privileged to meet younger and richer men with even more prospects than you. It's a no brainer that she would forsake the idea of a flamboyant future and stick with you because you paid school fees for her.

It doesn't mean she's not grateful to you oh that you saw her through school, it just means that she is now educated and exposed enough to decide for herself that she cannot commit her future to a marriage with you because she wants to express her gratitude.

The years and money that you expended on a fruitless venture would have been better put into meeting a woman who has already completed her education and settling down with her.
