Death is painful. When it comes suddenly, it becomes even more painful. It came to me with rude shock this afternoon when I heard of the demise of Professor Uche Ikonne, the PDP Governorship Candidate for the 2023 Abia Guber elections.

I join many Abians to mourn him and condole with his family on this shocking loss. I also extend my condolences to Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the Peoples Democratic Party. I pray that God grant you the strength to bear this loss and to console us all.

I was present at the meeting of the Abia Prosperity Movement (APM), held in Ugwunagbo ward 5 as we deliberated on the issues bothering on the coming elections and how to come out successfully.
Accompanied me to the meeting were my brothers, Mazi Ikechukwu Nwankwo (APGA House of Assembly Candidate, Ukwa West) and Dr Ekpemo Chikezie (APGA House of Assembly Candidate, Osisioma North).
Other notable personalities present were the Ugwunagbo LG Chairman of APGA, Chief Nnamdi Moses, Chief Ugochukwu Nwakwuo, Okechukwu Ebere, and other stakeholders.

The message is simple;
"The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant".
I am here to serve to liberate the good people of Ugwunagbo who have been abandoned for long now, with God we shall do a new thing.

I was at Umuodo (Ugwunagbo - Ward2) yesterday to speak and sensitize our people and we all agreed that it is only a mad man that does the same thing over and over again and expects a change, it is time to do a new thing.
