A core memory forever❤️

My heart is so full-so full that it feels like it might burst from the sheer weight of love
I felt. Yesterday, I sat in a room surrounded by people who love me—my family, my work family, my friends. And for the first time, I experienced something so profoundly beautiful that words feel inadequate.
I felt seen, valued, and deeply cherished.

Every prayer, every word of affirmation, every blessing spoken over me has been etched into my soul, a memory I will carry with me forever. In that moment, I felt inspired, fulfilled, and completely at peace.

I felt blessed in every second, in every glance, in every warm embrace. And truly, I need nothing more than this—to exist in a space where am loved, where my presence matters, where God’s hand over my life is so evident.

God really did right by me.

Day 2 at the African Business Convention featured special activities and sessions tailored to fit delegates varying interests ranging from investment/opportunity expo, deal brokerage, smart project exhibition, ideas and innovation pitching and media chat to regional investment fora.

I enjoyed the networking segments. There is always this fresh thrill of meeting smart people breaking professional barriers.

Spent the entire day as a delegate in African Business Convention 2022.

The conference featured conversations from top African government and business leaders proffering solutions that will address challenges in the business environment across Africa.

High-level networking sessions were built into the Convention program to facilitate investment meetings, relationship building, lead generation, idea pitching, deal-making, etc.

Overall Best candidate/First Prize for the Conventional Associate Exam for Chartered Arbitrators by the Nigeria Institute Of Chartered Arbitrators and Winner of the Judge Bola Ajibola (former judge of the International Court of Justice, Attorney General of Nigeria, Minister of Justice and Nigeria Bar Association President) Prize for International Arbitration.

This is a major win for me this year. There were several high profile legal and non legal luminaries in several cohorts/batches of Associate Chartered Arbitrators in several states across Nigeria the training was held and I was able to emerge the overall best student across Nigeria.

I left the induction at Eko hotel quite early after the official lunch. I was not expecting to any honorarium of winning best student in my arbitration batch let alone, the overall batch, so they kept calling my name on stage at the investiture ceremony but I was ABSENT because I had left. The staff at NICARB office kept telling how they had to reach out to me several times on platforms and privately before I finally knew.

Thank you to the Nigeria Institute of Chartered Arbitrator for the honorarium. I am truly grateful.

Navigating the rails of one of the stems of corporate social responsibility today.
If you don’t create a great and rewarding place for people to work, they won’t do great work.

4 months ago, I started the journey towards becoming an accredited Chartered Arbitrator. I combined this with coding classes and it was tasking. I read for my exams a day to it while on a trip to Africa Model United Nations Conference. The journey wasn’t rosy (more emphasis on the financial demands) but I finished. I am filled with excitement to be inducted as a chartered arbitrator.

Let’s do this today. Officially becoming an associate of the Nigerian institute of Chartered Arbitrators. Wearing a new title- Vanessa Kelechi (AcArb)
