REST IN PEACE TO A VISIONARY LEADER

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo. His death is a painful loss not only to the government and people of Bayelsa State, but to the entire Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

Senator Lawrence was a man of intellect, humility, and unwavering commitment to public service. Throughout his years of service, he distinguished himself as a calm, principled, and dependable leader who placed the interest of the people above personal gain. His contributions to governance, peace, and development in Bayelsa State will not be forgotten.

He served with dedication, loyalty, and a deep sense of responsibility, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and service that will continue to inspire generations to come. His wise counsel, experience, and leadership will be greatly missed at this critical time.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I mourn the passing of our Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, whose demise has come as a painful surprise.

Senator Ewhrudjakpo was a man of rare humility, compassion, and unwavering commitment to duty. In every assignment entrusted to him, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, sound judgment, and an unrelenting passion for service. His contributions to the Prosperity Government and to the growth and stability of Bayelsa State were invaluable, as he consistently provided clarity, direction, and solutions, even in the most challenging moments.

Beyond public office, he was a source of inspiration, a mentor, and a guiding light to many who benefited from his depth of knowledge, wisdom, and calm disposition. His life was defined by selfless service, integrity, and a genuine desire to see his people prosper.

Though death has taken him from our midst, his legacy of dedication, excellence, and commitment to the common good will endure in our hearts and in the history of Bayelsa State.
