Gratitude and Condolences: My Heartfelt Message.
Dear Friends and Well-Wishers,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing today with a heart filled with gratitude and mixed emotions. First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for all the warm wishes, thoughtful messages, and gestures of love that I received on my recent birthday. Your kind words and blessings have touched my heart in ways words alone cannot express.
However, it saddens me to inform you that I did not celebrate my birthday this year. Our beloved State of Bayelsa was struck by a tragedy that has left us all devastated. The recent motor accidents that claimed the lives of members of Barrister Smooth's music band and the supporters of Bayelsa Queens have cast a shadow over our community, leaving us in mourning and disbelief.
In light of these unfortunate events, it felt inappropriate to celebrate while our brothers and sisters are grieving the loss of their loved ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those who tragically lost their lives. I extend my deepest condolences to Barrister Smooth, whose band members were taken from us too soon. May their souls find eternal peace, and may their families find strength and solace in these trying times.
As we come to terms with this heartbreaking loss, let us also remember to cherish the time we have with our loved ones and hold them close. Life is fragile, and it is during moments like these that we realize the importance of unity, compassion, and support for one another.
Once again, I am humbled and grateful for your unwavering support and love. Your kind gestures and warm wishes have provided solace during these difficult days. Let us continue to stand together as a community, offering comfort and aid to those who need it most.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Yours sincerely,
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha.

My Deep Gratitude to EKELGA II Constituents and Stakeholders for an Exceptional Tenure in the 6th Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
On behalf of myself and my esteemed wife, Mrs. Wilson Dauyegha, I want to express heartfelt appreciation to all those who made my four-year tenure in the 6th Bayelsa State House of Assembly an immensely fulfilling experience.
I arrived, I witnessed, and I triumphed.
My accomplishments in the 6th Assembly, where I proudly served as the Deputy Minority Leader, a pivotal role that positioned me as a Principal Officer, would not have been attainable without the exceptional leadership of the Right Honourable Speaker, Chief Abraham Ingobere, and my esteemed superior, the Minority Leader of the 6th Assembly.
As a member of the opposition within the 6th Assembly, my contributions, both within and beyond the House, could not have made such a profound impact without the erudite contributions of my fellow opposition legislators from the All Progressives' Congress (APC), my party.
Collectively, in collaboration with members of the majority party in the 6th Assembly, we formed a powerful alliance and successfully enacted a record number of bills, initiated crucial motions, and championed other matters of paramount importance to the overall development and progress of Bayelsa State.
Of utmost importance, I extend my deepest appreciation to my indefatigable constituents—the ever-vibrant people of Ekeremor Constituency II—who, through their feedback, suggestions, and unwavering support, enabled me to place EKELGA Constituency II at the forefront of the state legislature, thereby bringing governance closer to grassroots communities in Ekeremor LGA.
It is my fervent desire that the Almighty God, who granted me the fortitude to complete my four-year tenure in the Bayelsa State 6th Assembly, shall shower blessings upon the people of Ekeremor, paving the way for us to meet our developmental needs in the years to come.
I would also like to extend my profound gratitude to the leader of my party, the All Progressives' Congress (APC), and the flag bearer for the forthcoming Governorship Election on November 11th, 2023, Chief Timipre Sylva, for his unwavering support, which facilitated my selection as the APC Senatorial Candidate for the Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the just concluded 2023 General Elections.
Together, we can achieve even greater things for our party in the days and years ahead.
As I respectfully bid farewell to the 6th Assembly, concluding my legislative duties and bringing this chapter of my journey to a close, I seek stronger alliances and partnerships that will greatly contribute to the progress of our party, the APC, and ensure that the people of my constituency and the Sagbama-Ekeremor District continue to reap the benefits of democracy as we strive to elevate the party to even greater heights in the future.
Thank you all, and may God bless us abundantly.
Farewell!
Signed,
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha (WAD)

On behalf of the good people of Ekeremor Constituency II, I felicitate with the duo of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku and Sen. Denyabofa Dimaro on your confirmation as the Managing Director and Bayelsa State Representative of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC respectively.
Your emergence into this enviable position is borne out of the passion by Mr. President to reposition the commission for better productivity with your wealth of management experience and leadership skill as key considerations.
I commend President Muhammadu Buhari for this choice while also applauding the role played by the Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva for making this appointment come to terms.
Congratulations once again and I pray God Almighty direct your decisions on this new level of service.

Is there a bold claim that we have had a sound representation in the senate as members of Bayelsa west senatorial district?
Were there legislative objectives set by our representatives for our people? If there are what are the gains?
You will agree with me that there's no visible gain so far and this administration is coming to an end. The present legislation has not in anyway impact on the upward economic mobility of our people.
I asked the Ekeremor people to give me the mandate to represent them in the State Assembly for their self sufficiency, this I have done through leveraging Federal Government loan schemes which over 3,000 people benefited.
We can see the improvements, many of our people now have their own businesses. This is walking the talk.
I have made myself available for the Bayelsa west senatorial seat under the APC. I am competent and I have the capacity to deliver. The choice we make now can engineer a social transformation for our people.
Let's make the right choice together and I am the right choice.
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha.

Yesterday at Aliebiri, I was in company with fellow distinguish colleagues of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly as we laid to rest late Chief Stephen Porri father of Hon. Tare Porri, the member representing Ekeremor Constituency I.
I once again condole with the family and the awesome people of Aliebiri and I pray the Almighty God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Today, myself and other party faithfuls received our presidential candidate of our great party, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital as he once again reiterated his plan for a renewed hope for Nigerians.
The enthusiastic crowd and the warm reception from teeming supporters showed Bayelsans are solidly behind our candidate and will vote massively for the APC at the polls.
I send my warmest appreciation to the leader of our great party in the State, H.E Chief Timipre Sylva for galvanising a formidable structure for victory as well as other stakeholders, party faithfuls and the awesome people of Sagbama and Ekeremor who came out en mass to receive Senator Tinubu.
I pray for safe trip for our presidential candidate and other leaders and party faithfuls to their respective states and and localities.

A critical question every stakeholder and member of Bayelsa west senatorial district must ask is, does the incumbent Senator representing the zone has the moral right to drag me to court over frivolities when it was the same man that destroyed a court in session with thugs while as sitting governor?
It is obvious the PDP's candidate is intimidated by my rising profile and the leadership dexterity I have shown and hence foresee a looming defeat at the poll.
While the NBA condemned such actions, the people of Sagbama and Ekeremor should also condemn such administrative rascality and ensure people of such character should not lead legislative proceedings in the senate by voting him out.
It is dangerous for our socioeconomic transformation to have people with dishonourable characters and disrespect for the rule of law to then make laws.
At this point competence, character and capacity should be the major point of our conversation along side issues bedeviling our collective aspirations.
I am competent, I have the character and the capacity to lead with a clean track record of honest, accountable and legislative performance.
Let's make the difference together for it is going to be a new set of legislation for socioeconomic transformation.
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha.

Yesterday, I paid a consultative visit to Engr. Toru Waddel to seek his support on my ambition to represent the good people of Sagbama and Ekeremor in the senate. I'm grateful for the warm reception as we had a fruitful conversation on the need to have a representation that will chart a new set of legislation for socioeconomic transformation in Bayelsa west senatorial district.
