Authentic Christianity Series

Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.
2 Peter 1:3-4(MSG)

There is a special kind of life we receive at Salvation. The Greek word for Salvation is "Soteria", which means to save, deliver, heal, redeem, etc. When we receive salvation we identify ourselves with Christ and we automatically receive the God's kind of Life which is called "Zoe" in Greek.

This kind of life (Zoe) is a type and quality of life (God's kind of life) that we receive immediately we idenfy ourselves with Christ. And this kind of life (Zoe) is above sickness, sin, death, failure, poverty, etc. This is what authentic Christianity is all about; authentic Christianity is concerned with Christian folks living as gods on Earth. Since we have Zoe (the God kind of life), sin should not be an issue anymore. Whenever you see Christian folks fall into sin routinely, it's because they've failed to allow Christ gain full and absolute expression and preeminence in them.

I'd like us to read and hagah (meditate) on our opening scripture again. Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know Christ (through the Holy Spirit) in the place of prayer (fellowship) and studying of God's word on a daily basis. It's in the place of fellowship that we drop our bad characters and human nature and get absorbed with divinity, which eventually gives us the ability to live extraordinary lives on earth.

An authentic Christian is a true reflection of Christ, when you see them you have seen Christ Himself. This kind of life (Zoe) is what the Father desires for all his children to operate in on earth, this kind of life is the higher life. Oh hallelujah! We have the higher life which is above sickness, sin and whatever thing you can mention. This kind of life is even above accident, hence, you cannot be involved in an accident, you've got to walk with this consciousness wherever you go.

More so, you've got to walk with this consciousness. The Hebrew meaning here for "walk" is to perambulate, you've got to let this consciousness perambulate inside-out. Allow Christ gain full expression in you and watch your life metamorphose from one form to another. God bless you richly, Shalom!

The Truth Is Always Better

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)

Truth, we hear it spoken of many times in Scriptures, we even hear Jesus pronounce Himself as Truth.
This statement must not be taken lightly. For a man, Christ to call Himself Truth, the implications are boundless. It means taking everything into consideration (facts, arguments, deliberations, events, arguments, laws, theories and predictions, future events and happenings) on any matter He is the final authority and His word is correct. Whatever contradicts what Jesus said at any time is thus a lie, whether it be proven with facts and evidences.
This is how serious Christ's assertion as the Truth is.

Everything we heard and knew before Christ was unclear and incomplete, He came as the completion and totality of Revelation. So everything we were confused about in Christ Jesus, we are clarified. Moses said certain things with the bias of Angels and man (himself) (Hebrews 2:2). Jesus came to establish Truth, and that by Himself, His life.

I saw this animation recently, titled, 'Small-foot'. I cried a bit at the end (yeah, I'm emotional, I know). The movie painted a very interesting picture, something I could relate with based on my background.
The movie centers around a community of 'Bigfoot' (giant monsters) who lived high in the mountains so humans couldn't reach them, bound by laws passed down by these lawgivers (rulers of the community). The thing is, the laws were all lies to keep them hidden and unknown to humans as it had occurred in their history that humans had hunted them. The movie shows a bigfoot who goes down the mountains, encounters humans, realizes all their laws were lies with good intent, and challenges them. At the end these giant monsters get to know the truth and decide to come down the mountain to live with the humans in harmony.
This movie indicates that the truth might seem fearful and dangerous, but it is the only way to true satisfaction and peace.

This is JESUS. It doesn't matter the facts that put up against His personality and ability, He is none the less the Truth and if He says He is GOD and can fix you once and for all, it means He can. A few years back I chose to take a bet on His promise and I can assure you He did not lie to me and He hasn't failed me, rather He has exceeded my expectations. One thing He keeps saying to me is "there is so much more in Me". He is the Truth, He is much better than anything we have entrusted our lives and joy; whether drugs, p**n, s*x, money etc. I urge you to try the Truth.

Give your heart to Christ Jesus today and surrender your life to Him, let Him make you (John 8:32).
To give your heart 💓 to Him, read Romans 10:9-10 and pray accordingly, believing He died for your sins and confess Him as your Saviour and Lord truly from heart.

You can also say this prayer with me "Heavenly Father, I believe in Your Son that you sent to die for my sake, I confess that He is my Saviour and my Lord forever. I believe my sins are all washed away and that I am now born again. Amen.

Live Your Life With a Sense of Urgency

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Proverbs 13:4(KJV)
I'd like us to read the preceding verses.

You have only one attempt at life so make it count, live your life with this consciousness.

6. Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7. Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8. Provideth her meat in the summer, [and] gathereth her food in the harvest.
9. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10. [Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6:6-11(KJV)

A friend of mine, sent me a message once that shapened my life tremendously. He said "pursuing your dream is hard but not trying is a disaster". Oh my God! I was like wow!
You know it's fine to know your dreams and visions in life but not doing or taking deliberate and conscious steps will only lead to disaster and frustration.

Life is beyond fun and pleasure and if you are fun oriented, you'll end up a fan that will blow heat away for people by ending up working for people, instead of creating and inventing working systems that will employ people. You got to live your life with a sense of urgency knowing that time is not on your side so you got to keep track of your time wisely. This is the best time to make investment for the future, the world is waiting for your ideas, innovation, books, songs, business firm, hospitals, shopping malls so don't relax or think you have arrived already.

As a matter of fact any success already achieved is no longer a success but history. So always press towards achieving more success and don't settle down for less. If your parents failed to create and invent things for you to use as toys when you were a baby, decide to create your own inventions and make a difference. Don't waste your time enjoying other people's inventions especially social media platforms without thinking of creating your own inventions. The Lord spoke to us earlier this year, he told us that this is our year of Extraordinary Grace, so God's grace for us to succeed and expand on every side this year is already sufficient. But we have a part to play by taking deliberate actions towards our visions in life.

Lastly, we want to give you an opportunity to come to Christ just in case you're yet to do that because it's in Christ Jesus that you can find true life, peace and purpose.

Shine your Light With Boldness

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Roman's 1:16 (KJV)

More so, I'd like us to read the preceding verses.

8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. 2 Timothy 1:8-9 (KJV)

God has made us light to the nations, but our light becomes restricted the very moment we allow the world's system to crip into our lives. Let's see Romans 12:2(NLT)
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Lots of believers don't understand the fact that God has made us to be light to the different spheres of society (see Matthew 5:14). There's a very famous proverbs that says "When Purpose is not known abuse is inevitable". The power of the Holy Spirit within us has been limited from time to because we mix up our ourselves with the world's system (secular music, fornication, s*xual content movies). Such things restrict the light of the glorious gospel of Christ from shining within and through you. God wants us to commit every aspect of our lives (our s*x lives, social lives, etc) to Him, so that He can have and gain full expression of Himself through us.

The Lord spoke to me in 2016, when I just gained admission into NDU. That very day I was in a bus to Amassoma for my clearance, and the Lord spoke to me " I gave you this admission, to add to your mission and I want you to be the extension of my hands to NDU and Amassoma." These words really got my attention and repositioned my thinking, which birthed a consciousness in me that made me to believe and to know that I'm God's light to NDU and Amassoma. But the Lord recently ignited me all over again, and moved me from just believing and knowing that I'm God's light to NDU, to shinning and radiating His light confidently and with full Boldness.

The Lord made me understand that I cannot be hidden no matter how I try to be hidden, a light cannot be hidden! It's not possible.
A light shines with ease if placed in the right environment, so locate the right environment (your point of contact) and shine your light to the extent that people will thank God that you existed on earth. Darkness should give way whenever you appear. You should start walking with the consciousness that you're God's light to the nations! Oh Hallelujah!

More so, it's one thing to know that you're a light and is another thing to be bold to shine your light, don't allow the fear of what people will say to limit you from shining God's light. Finally, let's look at this scripture "But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" Proverbs 4:18. No matter how a light tries to hide it can never be hidden, so stop hiding and start shining. Shalom!
