GOVERNOR'S WIFE VISIT: HON DRAMBI URGES PDP WOMEN SUPPORT GROUPS TO SHUN DECEPTIVE POLITICIANS

Wife of the Adamawa state Governor Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and Prof Kaletapwa Farauta, the incoming deputy governor of Adamawa state was in Michika today for an interactive session with all the PDP Women support groups

In his address, the executive chairman of Michika LG, Hon Amos Drambi urged women groups to elect leaders who will improve the lives of women and children

He advised the women to make the most use of their position as “amazons of democracy” to secure good leadership for their children.

Drambi further urged the women to support Atiku Abubakar and Alh Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to win the 2023 presidential and Gubernatorial elections so as to secure a better future for their children.

The wife of the governor, Hajiya Lami had earlier said that the meeting was aimed at identifying the needs of women whom she described as the “bedrock of the state" and to also urged them on need the to shun the deceptive efforts of some politicians meant to deceive them into voting in leaders who lack credibility, describing her husband as the right candidate to vote for

Highlights of the meeting was the commissioning of the newly built Legacy Project, 3 Class Rooms, 1 Examination Hall and an office in Government Day Secondary School, Dlaka, initiated and constructed by the Drambi's led administration

Similarly and courtesy of the workaholic chairman Hon Amos Drambi food items were shared to the women support groups

Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa State on Friday reiterated the commitment of his administration to lift people of the state out of current poverty level in Nigeria

Gov Fintiri made this known during an empowerment programme organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development Yola where training facilities was distributed to hundreds of agricultural and artisan cooperative societies and to correctional centres

Some of the training facilities distributed includes sewing machines, sets of generators and barbing saloon clippers, sets of generators and hand dryers, water pump generators, poultry feeds and life chicks and many more
