YOLA NORTH – YOLA SOUTH – GIREI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Distinguished elders, respected stakeholders, members of our great party, youth, women, and the good people of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency, I greet you all.

After deep consultation with community leaders, elders, youth groups, women organizations, and political stakeholders across our constituency, and after careful reflection on the needs and aspirations of our people, I, Engr. Mahmud MC Tahir, humbly declare my intention to contest for the position of Member, House of Representatives to represent the good people of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency.

Our constituency is blessed with hardworking people, vibrant youth, strong women, and great potential. However, we must collectively do more to ensure that the voices of our people are strongly represented and that the dividends of democracy reach every community.

My decision to contest is driven by a sincere desire to:
- Strengthen effective representation for our constituency
- Promote youth empowerment and job opportunities
- Support education, skills development, and entrepreneurship
- Improve infrastructure and social development across our communities
- Ensure that government programs and opportunities reach our people

As an engineer and community advocate, I believe in practical solutions, silent service, and measurable results. Leadership is not about noise; it is about responsibility, integrity, and delivering real impact to the people.

I therefore seek the support, prayers, and cooperation of all stakeholders, party leaders, and the good people of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei as we embark on this journey together.

This campaign will be one of unity, inclusion, and progress. We will listen to the people, work with the people, and serve the people.

Together, we can build a stronger voice and a brighter future for our constituency.
