Youth Empowerment and Job Matter: Wetin Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley Dey Do
If you check wetin Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley dey do as Speaker of Adamawa State House of Assembly, one thing clear — e dey put young people first. E no dey do mouth talk alone, na real work wey dey open door for job and make person fit stand on him own.
Education na one area wey e focus. Through scholarship wey e expand, many young people wey for stop school because of money now dey continue. E also back am with health program, because you no fit talk about work if person body no dey alright.
Apart from that, e don dey fix things wey dey affect people everyday. Water system don better, road and classroom dem don repair, bridge wey dey important don dey build. All these things no be just for show — during the work, local youth dey get work, and after that, small business and farming go dey move better.
Wetin make him own different be say e no dey stop for project alone. E dey try link young people straight to job. E dey talk with government people and private company so that training and work go dey available. Idea simple: train the youth, connect dem to opportunity, make dem get reason to build their future for home.
People for ground don dey see am. Community leaders dey talk say e dey listen and dey act on wetin people dey ask for. That kind thing dey build trust, and e make the work look like real progress, no be just politics.
So for now, wetin dey happen be say youth empowerment don pass talk. With the right support, young people fit get real work and build life without say dem must comot go another place.

In politics, ambition is never permanent. The terrain shifts, people’s needs evolve, and timing is everything. A leader who ignores this reality risks becoming stubborn, not strategic.
True leadership listens first. Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, has shown this repeatedly. Long before he contested for political positions, he was known for carrying people along. As Speaker, he ensured the bill creating 7 new chiefdoms in Adamawa was not imposed, but widely consulted. The same approach guides his work in Hong; from capital projects and payment of hospital bills to uniting Christians and Muslims and empowering persons with disabilities.
Consultation builds ownership, prevents costly mistakes, and aligns ambition with public interest. It is a sign of humility and maturity, not weakness.
As 2027 approaches, if Hon. Wesley pauses to consult before announcing his next move, it only proves one thing: the ambition that lasts is the one that listens. For many of us, the choice is clear _our loyalty stands firm with Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley. Whatever decision he takes after due consultation, we will follow and support his ambition.

Our Loyalty Stands Firm for Rt.Hon. Bathiya Wesley
In Adamawa State’s shifting political landscape, one thing remains unchanged for us: Our loyalty stands firm with Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley. Whatever political decision he takes, we will follow and support his ambition.
This is not blind followership. Our conviction comes from watching his life of service long before he contested for political positions, and it has only grown stronger through his performance as Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
