Ramadan Mubarak – Day 11 πŸŒ™

As we enter the second phase of this blessed month, we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, our prayers, and our sacrifices.

May He grant peace to our homes, unity to our communities, and progress to our constituency. May He make us among those forgiven and freed from the fire.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon. Abdulkareem Sabo Abdullahi (ASAJ), Marafan JIMETA, we remain committed to service, justice, and the upliftment of our people.

This Ramadan, let us renew our faith, strengthen our bonds, and continue to support leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the masses.

Allah ya karΙ“i ibadunmu 🀲
Ramadan Kareem.

RAMADAN DAY 8 – Healthy Cooking, Healthy Ummah

Ramadan teaches us discipline not only in worship, but also in what we place on our tables. As we fast to purify our souls, we must also nourish our bodies with wisdom.

Choosing grilled, baked, or steamed meals over deep-fried foods is more than a health decision β€” it is a commitment to self-control, moderation, and responsibility. A strong community begins with healthy individuals.

When we reduce oily foods, we reduce health risks. When we make better choices at Iftar, we build strength for Taraweeh, for service, and for leadership.

Let this Ramadan remind us:
βœ” Discipline in fasting
βœ” Discipline in eating
βœ” Discipline in serving the people

Healthy bodies. Clear minds. Focused hearts.

May Allah grant us strength, balance, and the wisdom to care for the Amanah He has given us. πŸŒ™

RAMADAN DAY 7 – PROTEIN MATTERS

In this blessed month of Ramadan, we are reminded that strength is not only spiritual, but physical. As we fast and pray, we must nourish our bodies to remain productive, focused, and committed to serving our communities.

Including protein such as fish, chicken, beans, or eggs in our Iftar and Suhoor helps maintain strength, discipline, and resilience β€” qualities needed not just in fasting, but in leadership and nation building.

A strong people build a strong constituency. A healthy community builds a greater future.

As we continue this sacred journey, may Allah (SWT) grant us the strength to worship sincerely, serve selflessly, and lead with integrity for the progress of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei.

May our fasting be accepted and our efforts rewarded. πŸ€²πŸŒ™

RAMADAN DAY 6 – CONTROL SUGAR INTAKE πŸŒ™

As we continue this blessed journey of Ramadan, let us be mindful of what we consume at Iftar and Suhoor.

Excess sugar from sugary drinks and desserts may give quick energy, but it often leads to fatigue and weakness later. Moderation is key to staying active and focused throughout the fast.

πŸ’‘ Healthy Tip: Choose fruits over sweets. Natural sugars provide steady energy and essential nutrients for your body.

May Allah grant us strength, good health, and the discipline to make wise choices this Ramadan.

Ramadan Day 4 – Balanced Iftar 🍽️

As we break our fast today, let’s remember the importance of eating right.

Start with dates and light soup, then enjoy a balanced meal that includes protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables for proper nourishment and energy.

βœ… Tip: Fill half of your plate with vegetables.

Let’s stay healthy and energized throughout this blessed month.

Day 3 - Suhoor Power πŸŒ™

As we continue this blessed month of Ramadan, let us remember the importance of Suhoor in keeping us strong and energized throughout the day.

Eat Suhoor with slow-digesting foods like oats, eggs, or yogurt to help you stay energized all day.

Tip: Add nuts or healthy fats for fullness.

May Allah grant us strength, good health, and the ability to maximize the rewards of this holy month.
