After months of wide consultations, sincere reflections, and encouragement from constituents, stakeholders, supporters, and well meaning citizens across Adamawa South, I have decided to answer the call to serve and formally join the race for the Adamawa South Senatorial seat.

This decision did not come lightly. I chose to remain silent in the face of the growing calls and appeals from constituents and supporters across Adamawa South, while I devoted time to consultations and careful reflection. The overwhelming confidence reposed in me and the consistent demand for purposeful, experienced, and people oriented representation have been truly humbling.

Yesterday, I officially acquired my nomination form, marking the formal beginning of this journey and my commitment to offering myself for service to the good people of Adamawa South.

This movement belongs to the people and is driven by our shared desire for purposeful representation, unity, and progress across Adamawa South.

The journey has begun, and with the support of our people, we shall move forward together with unity, purpose, and determination.

Continuing consultations in the build up to the next elections, I visited two respected royal fathers today, the Hama Batta, HRM Homun Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke, and the Hama Bachama, HRM Daniel Shaga Ismaila.

I appreciate the warm reception, the guidance and the prayers as we continue engaging across the zone.

As part of wider consultations ahead of the 2027 elections, today I consulted with some of our respected traditional rulers across Adamawa South. We paid courtesy visits to the Paramount Ruler of the Nungura Chiefdom, HRM Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II, the Amna Shelleng, HRH Alhaji Abubakar Isa Dasong, and the Murum Mbula, HRM Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo.

I am grateful for the warm reception, prayers and guidance. Seeking the blessings of our traditional institutions remains an important step as we continue broader engagements toward 2027.

It was truly humbling to witness the outpouring of love and warm wishes extended to me on my birthday yesterday.

I am deeply grateful for your calls, messages, social media posts, and kind mentions. While I am yet to personally respond to many of them, please know that each gesture is sincerely appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

Your thoughtfulness and goodwill mean a great deal to me, and I am genuinely delighted to be surrounded by such support. May you be celebrated even more than you have celebrated me, and may your kindness be richly rewarded. I look forward to your continued support and respect as we move forward together.

On behalf of my father, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, the Waziri Adamawa, I had the distinct honour of representing him at the historic turbaning ceremony in Michika, an event that truly reflects his deep respect for, and commitment to preserving our cherished traditions.

He extends his warmest congratulations to all the distinguished individuals who were bestowed with traditional titles, in recognition of their service, integrity, and contributions to society.

He also commends His Royal Majesty, Bulus Luka Gadiga, and the entire Michika Chiefdom for the successful hosting of such a dignified and memorable occasion, one that continues to strengthen our cultural heritage and unity.

It is always a delight to be home. I am deeply grateful for the warm and heartfelt welcome extended to me by my people upon my arrival in Yola today.

I heartily felicitate with my Christian leaders, friends, brothers, and sisters on the occasion of this Easter celebration.

Yes, it is ADC!

I am pleased to formally announce that I have registered with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

My decision to align with the ADC is driven by a firm commitment to strengthening our multi party democracy and standing shoulder to shoulder with patriotic Nigerians who are determined to restore value, dignity, and prosperity to our great nation.

This step reflects my belief that together, through collective resolve and principled leadership, we can build a better future for our people and for generations yet unborn.

I therefore call on all my supporters and well wishers to join me by registering with the ADC as we work together to advance the cause of good governance and national development.
