INFO on Ex-UNIVERSITY IBADAN DEPUTY VC abducted in Ibadan

A former deputy vice chancellor (Academic) of the University of Ibadan (UI), Professor Adigun Agbaje, has been kidnapped.
According to Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), Agbaje, who is currently on sabbatical at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, was on his way to Ibadan at about 6pm on Friday when kidnappers blocked his way near Guru Maharaji village, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Resumption news to all Unilorin Students

We give glory and thanks to Almighty God for sparing our lives to resume back to work after 8 months of ASUU strike.

At a meeting with the Dean today 18/10/2022, he said the following tentative calendar has been rolled out by the University Administration.

1. 17 - 24 October, 2022, clearing of the environment preparation for students resumption

2. 24/10/2022, Resumption of Final year and PG students.

3. 7 - 11 November 2022, Faculty Board meeting to consider Graduating students and Good Standing Results.

4. 14- 16 November 2022, BCOS meeting

5. 23/11/2022, Senate meeting to consider Final year results and Good Standing.

6. 01/12/2022, Beginning of 2021/2022 session.

In view of this tentative calendar, I wish to implore course coordinators to turn their results to the HOD on or before 26/10/2022 for subsequent consideration by the Departmental Board which comes up on 31/10/2022 at 10 am at the Departmental Board Room.

Immediately the results are approved, course coordinators should upload the results.
