Remembering Marked by Choice, April 2026. ❤️

A night when Orlando creatives, tattoo artists, musicians, and an AMAZING crowd came together for one cause: helping women leave the s*x industry.

For some victims of human trafficking, tattoos are not a choice. They are used as a form of branding, ownership, and control.

The heart behind Marked by Choice is taking something that can represent exploitation and turning it into a symbol of freedom, choice, and hope.

An incredible night made possible by an incredible community.

Yesterday, our team member Izaura, who is also my mom, went on outreach in Amsterdam’s Red-Light District together with Frits Rouvoet from Bright Fame.

Of course, first thing this morning called for coffee and a deep chat about how last night went.

When my mother was in her early twenties, she lived in the middle of Amsterdam’s Red-Light District to reach out to the women there. Her years of knowledge and experience in reaching women, and her ability to connect with them in a way only she can, have been my biggest inspiration.

Very, very happy that Frits asked you to join him yesterday… and this was for sure my favorite balcony hangout of the week. ❤️

A little throwback to when we rented out a theater for one of our events on September 25, 2025. ❤️

One year ago, Stay With Me presented Buying Her, a film by Exodus Cry.

We hosted it at the historic Ritz theater in our little hometown of Sanford, filled it with an amazing crowd, and spent the evening diving into the topic of demand.

Why do men buy s*x? And what does it take for someone who has purchased s*x to change?

After the film, we continued the conversation with an incredible panel and had the opportunity to hear different perspectives, ask difficult questions, and really dig into the topic together.

Such a special night, and definitely one we still think back on often. ❤️

This is where our LINE 24 fundraising journey began. ❤️

In September 2025, during a beautiful evening at the Sanford Ritz Theater, we publicly shared the vision for LINE 24 for the very first time.

We shared our dream of launching a new way of doing outreach: a mobile outreach unit offering professional beauty services to women in the s*x industry as a way to meet women, build relationships, and create pathways to support.

That evening, we began fundraising to turn that dream into reality.

And not even a year later, we are close to reaching $85,000! 🥹

What a BEAUTIFUL journey it has been so far.

We are so grateful for every person who has believed in this vision, given, shared, prayed, and helped us move LINE 24 closer to the streets.

And we’re not there yet!

Training meets the field

When you’re doing outreach, you’re in the moment. You’re focused on the woman in front of you, the conversation, and what feels right.

Sometimes we don’t realize what we’re already doing really well, or where small changes could make us more effective.

That’s why it can be so valuable to have someone with an outside perspective join your team, observe, and give feedback afterwards.

That’s why we don’t just train your team.

We go into the field with you. ❤️

Why do survivors experience such an enormous burden rebuilding their lives and pursuing justice, while the consequences faced by those who purchased s*x can look very different?

It’s a difficult and complex conversation, but an important one to have.

Stay With Me Outreach Training part II

What makes our training different

First and foremost, our educational ground was Amsterdam’s Red-Light District.

It’s where our front-line outreach experience began, but we didn’t want to build our approach on experience alone.

We’ve researched the lives of women who worked in the Red-Light District: why and how they entered the s*x industry, what kept them there, what eventually helped them leave, and how they experienced outreach while they were still working.

We’ve listened to lived-experience experts. We’ve studied outreach teams. We’ve looked at what works, what doesn’t, and where outreach can become more effective.

Out of all of this, the Stay With Me Outreach Training was born.

And we don’t just train from the sidelines.
We go into the field with your team.
We experience your outreach firsthand.
And we build from there.

Our goal is to equip your team to reach women more effectively, because ultimately, we all want to see more women leave the s*x industry.

Why we believe in outreach

If you know Stay With Me, you know how much we believe in outreach.

We believe outreach can be the very beginning of a woman’s journey toward healing and change. And we also believe outreach teams shouldn’t have to figure everything out on their own.

Over the years, we have met so many incredible outreach workers across the U.S. and the Netherlands.

We’ve sat together and talked about the highlights, the pain points, the difficult moments, the questions, and also the incredible things that can happen when we consistently show up for women in the s*x industry.

Imagine what can happen when we learn from one another, share our knowledge and experiences, create new strategies, and refine the ones that already exist…

More women will be reached. More women will leave. The s*x industry will shift.

That is why we created our outreach training.

Stay With Me has the ANBI status! 🇳🇱🎉

I was looking for a photo with a BIG smile, and I found this one!

This was taken when I was giving a training at one of the largest universities in the U.S., which ended up opening the door to many more trainings!

But that’s actually not why I’m writing today.

I’m sharing this photo because this is pretty much what my face has looked like for the past few days...

Stay With Me officially received the ANBI status in the Netherlands!

ANBI status is the Dutch recognition for organizations that serve the public benefit. For us, this is such an important step because it gives Stay With Me a stronger foundation to grow our work in the Netherlands!

We spent months preparing the documents, policies, and everything required for the application, so receiving the official approval feels incredibly special.

Stay With Me started in Amsterdam, and even though so much of our work has grown in the U.S., the Netherlands has always remained an important part of our story.

And now we get to keep building here too. ❤️

So yes... BIG smile over here!
