With the successful completion of panel discussion "Being LGBTIQ In Nepal", SFN is delighted to announce an online contest to showcase your creativity revolving around the theme: Voice for LGBTIQ, step towards equity.
The endeavor is to instill an excellent expression of thought and providing them space for growth, improvement and better learning.

This contest is open to following categories:
1. Writings: short poems, articles, essay
2. Art: posters, drawings, paintings
3. Videos: tiktok or short documentary videos

Important Rules:
1. Participant must submit their content via email:
[email protected] with following details:
• Name and full address of participant
• Contact details
2. Participant must like and follow our page: Sanjeevani Foundation Nepal
3. All the content will be published in our page with the name, and bio of the participants without the need of prior permission. Sending your content to us itself gives us the authority to publish it from our side.
4. Participant can only share their content after it is published in our page.
5. Upon sharing the content, participant must use the given hashtag: .

Judgment criteria:
• All the content will be reviewed by the Sanjeevani Foundation Nepal. Their votes i.e. likes will equally play a key role for declaring the winners.
• Winners will be selected on the basis of content, like (1 like equals 1 point) and share (1 share equals 3 points) of your post in our official page.

Announcement and Prize:
• Winners will be announced in our official page and will also get notified via email.
• One winner from each category will be awarded with 300 rupees of cash benefit.

Important Dates:
• Last Date of submission: 10th July 2021

Note:
• Participant will have to compete on their own category.
• Winners will get notified via e-mail requesting for their details for the payment.
• Method of evaluation: 50% by Board Members and 50% through the impression in the post.

Every human being deserves to be loved and supported regardless of their color, caste, gender and sexual orientation.
LGBTIQ; people who have identified themselves as Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex or q***r are equally strong, worthy and lovable as all other people in every way. But our societies have not understood this yet. LGBTIQ communities have not been provided with equal rights, opportunities and support in our country yet. They have been discriminated, victimized and isolated in our societies since a very long time. Every other day, we hear about people being harassed and bullied for being LGBTIQ in Social Medias and public places. We see 'memes' in the social medias where LGBTIQ people are made fun of and humiliated. Our societies, our youth need to understand that being gay or le***an is as equal as being a heterosexual. There are still considerable gaps in our knowledge about the LGBTIQ community which is resulting the discrimination.
So, let's gather, talk and hear about what it's like to be a LGBTIQ in Nepal. Let's understand and support LGBTIQ community and celebrate Pride Month 2021 together.
