Nepal Mahila Bishwasi Sangh (NMBS) is a non-profit making organization which has its central office in Nepal.

It is registered with District Administrative Office, Social Welfare Council of Nepal and is affiliated with the World YWCA. Founded in 1993, NMBS was formally established in 1995.

A powerful drama presented by our peer mentors demonstrating the stigmas surrounding menstruation. The drama powerfully highlighted how conversations around menstruation are still surrounded by shame, silence, and deep-rooted traditional beliefs in society.

Nepal Mahila Bishwasi Sangh-YWCA of Nepal has successfully completed a Menstrual Health & Hygiene (MHM) Awareness Session under Empowering Young Women’s Health and Climate Resilience in Nepal, held on May 24, 2026, for young girls and women aged between 18-30 from diverse backgrounds of the Badbhanjyang area. This session has equipped 30 Local Young Women (LYW), with a special focus on the thematic issues of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and Climate Resilience.

This training has equipped 20 Local Young Women (LYW) with reusable pad-making skills and knowledge, with special focus on the thematic issue of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and Climate Resilience.
