Kathmandu’s traffic no longer feels like a civic problem, it feels like a slow, collective punishment. Every night, engines idle like breathing machines, red brake lights glow like warning signals, and the city traps its own people in endless queues of metal and exhaustion. We ask the PM Sushila Karki Government of Nepal, B***n Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division traffic authorities, and every responsible institution: how long will this quiet suffering be normalized? Roads dug and forgotten, plans announced and abandoned, and silence where accountability should scream. This is not movement; this is confinement. A city that cages its citizens on the road is not alive it is slowly suffocating them.
