धेरैजसो समयमा संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभाका धेरै कुर्सीहरू खाली देखिन्छन् वा विभिन्न देशका प्रतिनिधिहरू आफ्नो उपस्थितिमा निरन्तरता दिँदैनन्। त्यसैले संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभाले सबै देशका लागि समान र कडा नियम बनाउनुपर्छ भन्ने मेरो धारणा छ।
कुनै पनि देशका प्रधानमन्त्री, राष्ट्रपति वा अन्य प्रतिनिधिले अर्को देशका प्रधानमन्त्री वा राष्ट्रपतिले आफ्नो सम्बोधन गरिरहेको समयमा सभा छोड्न वा आफ्नो पालो सकिएलगत्तै अरू देशको सम्बोधन नसुनी बाहिरिन नपाउने व्यवस्था हुनुपर्छ।
हरेक देशले समान सम्मान र कूटनीतिक शिष्टाचार पाउनुपर्छ। नेताहरूबीच नीति र विचारमा असहमति हुन सक्छ, तर एक–अर्काको कुरा ध्यानपूर्वक सुन्नु नै अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय कूटनीतिक सम्बन्धको महत्वपूर्ण आधार हो।
Many seats are often empty, or country representatives are absent. Therefore, I believe the United Nations General Assembly should establish a strict and equal rule for all countries: no official including a Prime Minister, President, or other representative should be allowed to leave the assembly or skip another country’s speech while a Prime Minister or President is delivering their address, or immediately after their own turn has ended.
Every country deserves the same level of respect and diplomatic courtesy. Leaders may disagree on policies, but listening to one another is an essential part of international diplomacy.
