A meaningful and inspiring meeting was held with representatives from six child care homes, bringing together 19 participants, including new care leavers and young people.

Our young friends Suresh Bhujel and Aashim Gurung shared their experiences and introduced the Bikalpa-Nepal Youth Hub and its activities. They also requested the care home representatives to join hands with the Youth Hub so that young people leaving care can continue to receive friendship, guidance, opportunities and support.

The voices of the care leavers were touching. They shared how important it is for them to stay connected with other care leavers—to share experiences, learn from one another, support each other and find their own meaningful paths in life.
Bikalpa-Nepal’s Vice President, Dr. Prabin Tripathi, shared about the organization’s work and commitment to creating a more caring, inclusive and supportive society. We played games and enjoyed being together with our youth.

Representatives from SOS Bahini, Kopila Bal Griha, Ashahaya Bal Upakar Sangh, Grace and Truth of Himalayas Children’s Home, Opportunity Village, and Association Annapurna Nepal expressed their happiness in learning about the Youth Hub and its services for care leavers. They warmly welcomed the initiative and committed to supporting and strengthening this collective effort.

Together, we can turn care into connection, connection into opportunity, and opportunity into hope.

At Youth Hub, we find moments of joy and relief by singing, dancing, and being together—letting go of the stress and sadness around us, especially the devastating floods and its painful impact on us and so many lives.

Together, We Care. Together, We Grow. 🌱💙

28 young people. Two beautiful days. One shared vision — to make our Youth Hub a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for everyone.

Our two-day Team Building at Sarangkot Retreat Centre was filled with laughter, friendship, learning, sharing, and unforgettable moments. From swimming, campfire and BBQ to music, singing, dancing, games, and our refreshing walk to Sarangkot Tower — every moment brought us closer together.

More importantly, we came together to share our experiences, understand the Youth Hub and its activities, review our current progress, and develop an action plan for the days ahead.

We worked in teams, shared ideas, and most importantly, took responsibility for the Youth Hub voluntarily through our:
🤝 Governance & Wellbeing Team
🎉 Event Organizing Team
🎨 Decorating Team

This is not just a place. Youth Hub belongs to young people — a place where you can be heard, respected, supported, and connected. A place to learn new skills, make friends, share your ideas, discover your strengths, and create positive change together.
