This year’s Embassy outing took the German Embassy team to the Nakhal Fort in South Al Batinah! 🏰✨ We had the privilege of exploring centuries of the Omani historis with a guided tour, learning so much along the way. A big thank to the dedicated team at Nakhal Fort for the very warm welcome and for the fascinating tour. Our adventure didn’t stop there – the team also had the chance to visit the Wakan mountain village!

انطلقت رحلة السفارة الألمانية لهذا العام، حيث توجه فريق السفارة إلى قلعة نخل في محافظة جنوب الباطنة.🏰✨ حظينا بفرصة استكشاف قرون من التاريخ العماني من خلال جولة بصحبة مرشدين، وتعلّمنا خلالها الكثير. شكرًا جزيلًا لفريق قلعة نخل على حسن الاستقبال والجولة الرائعة. لم تنتهِ مغامرتنا عند هذا الحد، فقد أتيحت للفريق أيضًا فرصة زيارة قرية واكان الجبلية!

Life after Death in Oman” – Talk by the archeologist Prof. Stephanie Döpper from Universität Würzburg Würzburg University about Tombs and Burial Customs from the Stone Age to the Pre-Islamic Period.

ألقت عالمة الآثار البروفيسورة شتيفاني دوبر من جامعة فورتسبورغ محاضرة بعنوان "الحياة بعد الموت في عُمان" تحدثت فيها عن المقابر وعادات الدفن من العصر الحجري إلى عصر ما قبل الإسلام .

Ambassador Dirk Lölke enjoyed the visit of the Omani journalist Turki Al-Balushi who will attend the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in Bonn, Germany.
