The Embassy conducted an Open House on Friday in hybrid format at the Embassy premises. Indian nationals shared their concerns and grievances directly with H.E. Amb G. V. Srinivas in the presence of the Embassy team.
A yoga session was also held prior to the Open House. Indian community members and yoga enthusiasts participated and shared their experiences about daily yoga sessions being held in the Embassy from last few months.

India-Oman CEPA enters into force today, marking a significant milestone in the economic partnership between the two countries.
The agreement will strengthen India's access to the GCC and wider Middle East markets, reinforce centuries-old India-Oman ties, and build on growing bilateral trade which reached USD 11.18 billion in FY 2025-26.
With over 6 lakh Indians in Oman and strong trade complementarities, the CEPA is set to boost exports, competitiveness and long-term economic cooperation.

🇮🇳🇴🇲 India-Oman Maritime Cooperation
In furtherance of the robust maritime cooperation between India and Oman, the existing MoU between the Republic of India and the Sultanate of Oman to cooperate on maritime issues was renewed on 25 May 2026.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Shri G.V. Srinivas, Ambassador of India to Oman and Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser bin Mohsin Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman.
The renewal resonates with the larger India-Oman joint maritime vision and reflects the shared commitment of both nations towards maritime safety, security and cooperation.
🇮🇳🇴🇲 التعاون في القضايا البحرية بين الهند وسلطنة عُمان
في إطار تعزيز التعاون البحري المتين بين الهند وسلطنة عُمان، تم بتاريخ 25 مايو 2026 تجديد مذكرة التفاهم القائمة بين جمهورية الهند وسلطنة عُمان بشأن التعاون في القضايا البحرية.
وقد وقّع مذكرة التفاهم كلٌّ من سعادة السيد جي. في. سرينيفاس، سفير جمهورية الهند لدى سلطنة عُمان، واللواء الركن بحري سيف بن ناصر بن محسن الرحبي، قائد البحرية السلطانية العُمانية.
ويعكس تجديد مذكرة التفاهم الرؤية البحرية المشتركة الأوسع بين الهند وسلطنة عُمان، كما يجسد الالتزام المشترك للبلدين تجاه السلامة والأمن والتعاون البحري.

HE Amb G. V. Srinivas inaugurated the 23rd edition of the Mango Mania festival at Lulu Hypermarket in Muscat yesterday. This year, the annual event showcased over 50 premium mango varieties from India, alongside selections from across the globe. In addition to fresh fruit, the festival features an array of freshly prepared and processed mango-based products. The event serves as a befitting celebration of the thriving India-Oman agricultural and FMCG trade partnership.

'Yoga Session onboard Indian Naval Ship Visakhapatnam'
As part of the activities leading up to the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026, a special yoga session was organised onboard Indian Naval Ship Visakhapatnam, berthed at Sultan Qaboos Port.
The early morning yoga session witnessed participation by the ship’s crew and members of the Indian community in Muscat, against the backdrop of the picturesque Jebel Al Hajar.
The event promoted yoga as the harbinger of wellness, fostering wisdom and contributing to world peace.
