I captured this precious moment back in 2023 during the University of Goroka Enga Campus Graduation at Wabag Primary School, Enga Province.

Here is a mother from Chimbu Province who could not hold back her emotions. As soon as she saw Enga Governor Grand Chief Sir Peter Ipatas, she went down to her knees as a show of appreciation, thanking Sir Peter and Enga Provincial Government for their strong support towards the UOG Enga campus, as her son looks on.

At this time of political uncertainty, economic crisis and social challenges, one of Papua New Guinea's political tycoon, GC Sir Peter Ipatas, the man who has seen Prime Ministers rise and Prime Ministers fall for the last 27 years, is now a nominee and alternate Prime Minister for PNG.

It is a time for change!

It's time our MPs need to give up their personal and political interests and step towards genuine leadership by putting the national interest first.

GC Sir Peter is discouraging formation of camps amidst the VONC, because this approach will foster transparency and accountability. So now, it's a challenge to our MPs: Will they stand on their principles and vote based on what is best for the people, or will they be swayed by political camps and hidden agendas?
