The Local Government Unit of Dolores headed by Mayor Conde T. Turqueza through the Distinctions and Awards Yielding Admirable Workers (DAYAW), agency's customized PRAISE, recognizes the valuable effort of employee's towards this morning, during the Flag Raising Ceremony.

The 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐂) receives the recognition for achieving 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 standard during the recently concluded 2025 Performance Audit. Members of the MADAC MLGOO Elizabeth B. Layugan, DCOP PLt. Neva Jane V. Alzate, MHO Dr. Darbie Madriaga, MSWDO Marlyn S. Avila and Representative from the Religous Sector Fr. Alfredo Eduarte are present to receive the said award.

The Local Government Unit of Dolores headed by 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐚, together with the Department Heads and employees, gathered this morning, February 13, 2026, to reimplement the 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐒𝐏𝐌𝐒) of the agency. 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐲 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬, from the CSC Abra Field Office, shares hope with everyone as she discusses the policies and guidelines of the Performance Management.

The Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) aims to concretize the linkage of organizational performance to the LGU strategic plans. Likewise, it ensures the organizational effectiveness and improvement of the employees.

𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐎 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚 discusses the 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐖), the customized agency Rewards and Recognition policy. This is to recognize and reward accomplishments and innovations and to provide incentives and interventions to motivate employees who have contributed ideas, suggestions, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, and other personal traits.

These activities aim to achieve the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐇𝐑𝐌) Maturity Level II and retain the Accreditation Status of the agency.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Abra joined the inauguration and blessing of the newly purchased motor vehicle funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund 2024 (SGLGIF) of the Municipality of Dolores, Abra on February 4, 2026, marking another milestone in the LGU’s sustained compliance with good governance standards.

DILG-Abra Provincial Director Kristoffer Dave R. Alvarez represented the Department and underscored the importance of responsible utilization, proper turnover, and accountability in the implementation of SGLG-funded projects, consistent with DILG’s mandate to provide technical guidance and monitoring to local government units.

Led by Hon. Mayor Conde T. Turqueza and Hon. Vice Mayor Russ Marion T. Zapata, the activity highlighted the Municipality of Dolores’ achievement of six (6) consecutive SGLG awards, reflecting its continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective public service delivery. Mayor Turqueza emphasized that the newly-acquired vehicle shall be used strictly for official purposes in support of LGU operations.

The activity featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and blessing of the vehicle officiated by Rev. Fr. Alfredo Eduarte, signifying its readiness for use in advancing local governance functions.

The inauguration reflects the collaborative efforts of the LGU of Dolores, provincial leadership, and partner agencies in upholding good local governance practices, guided by the standards and principles set by the DILG.

The Local Government Unit of Dolores awards 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to the Senior Highschool students of 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 this morning, February 2, 2026, as they finish their Eighty (80) hours On-the-Job Training (OJT). 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓. 𝐙𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚 with the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan handed over the certificates in recognition of their commitment and professionalism during their training.

The On-the-Job Training provides hands-on experience in a working environment fostering professional ethics and helps them learn work cultures.
