FIRE SAFETY SYMPOSIUM 2023🧯
LOOK: The Bureau of Fire Protection Bataan particularly the Fire Safety Enforcement Team held a school community symposium on Fire Prevention headed by CFO4 or Chief Fire Officer, Jholand Tupay Hipolito at Bonifacio Camacho National High School Auditorium. This event was well-attended by students and leaders from organizations including the YES-O ORGANIZATION Officials and, teachers of the institution who wanted to learn about fire safety and prevention.
This year's Fire Prevention Month theme,
"SA PAG-IWAS SA SUNOG HINDI KA NAGIISA," was a timely reminder of the need for every individual to take responsibility for preventing fires. The theme emphasizes that fire prevention relies on people knowing about fire and its effects. Educational programs can help them identify and discuss fires and extinguishing methods. Building occupants also can take part in education efforts to help them identify and correct fire hazards, plan building and office evacuation routes, choose and use fire extinguishers, and inspect for fire.
Experienced firefighters who spoke at the conference shared their knowledge and expertise in handling fire crises. They emphasized that everyone has a responsibility to prevent fires and should take the necessary procedures to do so.
The symposium was successful, and anyone who went away from it knowing more about fire safety and prevention. We can reduce the risk of fires and maintain the safety of our homes, schools, and workplaces by cooperating and taking personal responsibility. We should all be appreciative to the BFP Bataan for organizing such an educational and helpful event, and we should keep an eye out for fire safety and prevention all year long.
