𝗖𝗚𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗬 𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗢𝗞 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Noong 03 Hunyo 2026, aktibong nakilahok ang mga tauhan ng Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Abucay sa Brigada Eskwela 2026 na may temang “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman” na ginanap sa Tomas Pinpin Memorial Elementary School, Abucay, Bataan.

Kasama ang mga g**o, magulang, at iba pang boluntaryo, nagsagawa ang mga tauhan ng CGSS Abucay ng iba’t ibang gawain tulad ng pagpuputol ng mga sanga ng puno, paglilinis ng paligid ng paaralan, pag-aalis ng mga nakaharang na halaman, at paghahanda ng mga pasilidad upang matiyak ang isang ligtas, malinis, at maayos na kapaligiran para sa mga mag-aaral sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase.

Ang pakikilahok na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na suporta ng Philippine Coast Guard sa sektor ng edukasyon at sa pagsusulong ng diwa ng bayanihan sa pamamagitan ng programang ICARE (Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement).

LOOK: COAST GUARD STATION BATAAN INCREASES DISASTER AWARENESS AND PREPAREDNESS TO THE COASTAL COMMUNITIES

In relation to the start of the rainy season, the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bataan has intensified its engagement with the Local Government Units (LGU) and coastal barangays in the Province of Bataan to promote disaster preparedness and ocean safety of fishermen and citizens.

Bilang bahagi ng programang ito, nagsagawa ang CGS Bataan ng information dissemination activities at namahagi ng mga “Paalala sa mga Mangingisda” upang mapataas ang kamalayan ng publiko hinggil sa mga panganib na dulot ng masamang panahon at kahalagahan ng pagsunod sa mga panuntunan sa kaligtasan sa karagatan.

The reminders emphasized the importance of monitoring weather reports, ensuring the good condition of marine vessels, wearing life-saving equipment, and promptly reporting any marine incident or emergency to the nearest Coast Guard station.

This work demonstrates the Philippine Coast Guard’s continuous commitment to the PCG ICARE Program’s goal (Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement) in promoting maritime safety, efficient public service, and strong community engagement.

On 17 May 2026, personnel of Coast Guard Station Bataan, Coast Guard Sub-Station Abucay, CGSOU Bataan and MEPTC Abucay rendered maritime safety and security assistance during the conduct of the Pagoda 2026 Fluvial Procession in Brgy. Omboy, Abucay, Bataan, attended by Hon. Erik J. Martel, Municipal Mayor of Abucay, together with other local officials, guests, and devotees.

The activity was successfully conducted through close coordination with the Barangay LGU of Omboy, MDRRMO Abucay, BFP Abucay, PNP Abucay, and other partner agencies in ensuring the safety, security, and orderly movement of all participating motor bancas and passengers.

This activity highlights the Philippine Coast Guard’s commitment under the PCG ICARE Program (Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement) in promoting maritime safety, public service, and community partnership.

Bilang paghahanda para sa Fluvial Procession sa Brgy. Omboy, Abucay, Bataan ngayong 17 May 2026, pinaaalalahanan ng Coast Guard Sub-Station Abucay ang lahat ng boat operators, participants, at mga deboto na sumunod sa lahat ng maritime safety and security measures.

On 29 April 2026, personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Abucay provided security and safety assistance during the conduct of “Ang Pag-uwi ni Apo Antin” in line with the celebration of the Kapistahan ni San Pedro Martir ng Verona held in Abucay, Bataan.

The activity involved a series of religious rites and procession routes within the vicinity of the parish, drawing a large number of devotees and participants. CGSS Abucay ensured the orderly flow of the procession, crowd control, and the safety of attendees throughout the duration of the event.

This operation was conducted in close coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Parish Church, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Abucay, and Traffic Marshals of Abucay, highlighting strong inter-agency collaboration in maintaining public safety and security.

CGSS Abucay remains committed to supporting community and religious activities by ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.

In line with the celebration of the 58th Founding Anniversary of Coast Guard District National Capital Region – Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) with the theme “Matatag na Kaagapay ng Bagong Pilipinas,” the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bataan was conferred a Plaque of Recognition as Station of the Year “C.” The award highlights the station’s outstanding performance, operational efficiency, and unwavering commitment in the ex*****on of its mandated functions.

The recognition reflects CGS Bataan’s significant accomplishments in maritime law enforcement operations, coastal security patrols, search and rescue missions, and marine environmental protection initiatives. Through consistent professionalism, discipline, and dedication, the station has effectively contributed to maintaining maritime safety and security within its area of responsibility.

This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of CGS Bataan personnel, together with the invaluable support of partner agencies, local government units, and maritime stakeholders. Moving forward, the station remains steadfast in sustaining operational excellence and strengthening its capability to deliver responsive and reliable public service.

On 13 April 2026, Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Abucay, together with the Municipal Officials and Employees of Abucay, Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), participated in the traditional morning colors ceremony held at the Abucay Municipal Hall, Brgy. Calaylayan, Abucay, Bataan.

During the activity, Philippine Coast Guard personnel led the flag raising ceremony, reflecting discipline, unity, and respect for the national flag and its symbols.

The joint morning colors ceremony highlights the strong collaboration among local government offices and uniformed agencies in promoting patriotism, accountability, and dedicated public service. It also strengthens inter-agency coordination in maintaining peace, order, and safety within the municipality.

CGSS Abucay remains steadfast in supporting collaborative initiatives and fostering community engagement in line with the mandate of the Philippine Coast Guard.

On 07 April 2026, Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Abucay, together with Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bataan and the Philippine Coast Guard Academy (PCGA), continues to provide assistance and ensure the safety and security of visitors at Sibul Nature Spring Resort, Abucay, Bataan.

Deployed personnel conduct continuous monitoring, crowd management, and safety supervision, while maintaining readiness to respond to any emergency situation. The presence of PCG personnel further enhances public safety awareness and ensures compliance with existing safety measures.

This deployment is being carried out in close coordination with the LGU Abucay, MDRRMO Abucay, and the management of Sibul Nature Spring Resort, highlighting strong inter-agency cooperation under the PCG ICARE (Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement) program to maintain a safe, orderly, and secure environment for all.

On 02 April 2026, 𝐋𝐓𝐉𝐆 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐏 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐃𝐔 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Commander of Coast Guard Substation Abucay, conducted visits and inspections of deployed personnel in line with OPLAN BIYAHENG AYOS: Semana Santa and Summer Vacation 2026 at St. Dominic Guzman Parish Church and Sibul Resort. The activity aimed to ensure operational readiness, effective deployment, and the continuous delivery of maritime safety and public assistance services.

In coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO Abucay), Abucay Traffic Marshals, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP Abucay) and Abucay Municipal Police Station (MPS), personnel provided assistance to churchgoers and penitents while maintaining peace, order, and public safety in identified convergence areas. The activity was also conducted in the presence of Mayor Erik J. Martel, highlighting strong support from the local government.

Through these efforts, CGSS Abucay reinforces its commitment under the PCG iCARE Program—ensuring integrity in service, constant readiness, and active engagement with partner agencies to safeguard lives and promote a safe, orderly, and meaningful observance of Semana Santa.
