The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Agdangan, conducted a training titled “Profit with Purpose: Simple Financial Tools and Business Plans for Sustainable Growth” on September 12, 2025, at the Municipal Evacuation Center, Brgy. Poblacion 1, Agdangan, Quezon.
The activity was organized in partnership with the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Agdangan. A total of 35 participants from the retail sector, food services, and home-based businesses attended the training.
Ms. Jenny L. Llano served as Resource Speaker, providing practical insights on recordkeeping, financial discipline, and business planning tailored for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Hon. Vicenta C. Aguilar, Municipal Mayor of Agdangan, also graced the event with an inspiring message for local entrepreneurs.
The program further provided an avenue for Mr. Mark Anthony L. De Vega, Negosyo Center Business Counselor–Agdangan, to introduce DTI programs and services, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to supporting MSMEs in the municipality.
This initiative emphasized that building a sustainable business requires not only resources but also the right mindset, financial discipline, and proper planning. Through such efforts, DTI continues to empower entrepreneurs to strengthen their enterprises and contribute to local economic growth.
