BUTUAN CITY, [November 10-12, 2025] – The 1st Agusan Del Norte Ready Reserve Artillery Battery (1ANRRAB) has successfully bolstered its capacity for disaster response after completing a comprehensive three-day training program focused on Water Safety and Rescue Survival.

​The intensive training aimed to significantly enhance the knowledge, essential skills, and operational readiness of the participants in effectively responding to natural disasters and water-related emergencies.

active personnel from the 1501st (ADN) Center Defense Unit successfully participated in a three-day Disaster Response and Rescue Operation focusing on Water Safety and Rescue Survival Training.

The training was conducted by the Headquarters 402nd Infantry (STINGERS )Brigade, 4th Infantry Diamond Division and led by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). It aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge, skills, and readiness in responding to natural disasters and water-related emergencies.

Throughout the three-day training, participants engaged in lectures and hands-on exercises on water rescue techniques, basic life-saving, flood response, and coordination during disaster operations. The joint effort between the AFP Reserve Force and the PCG demonstrated the commitment to strengthening inter-agency cooperation in disaster preparedness and response.

The participation of the 1ANRRAB reservists and the active personnels reflects their dedication to public service and their readiness to assist communities during emergencies and calamities.

[Bancasi, Butuan City] – In a continuous effort to maintain operational readiness and marksmanship proficiency, a live firing exercise was successfully conducted with the active participation of reservist personnel from the 1st Agusan Del Norte Ready Reserve Artillery Battery.

The essential training was led by SSg Phil M. Conde and SSg Rufino C Ramelo (MI) PA, who ensured that all safety protocols and firing procedures were properly observed throughout the event.

The exercise focused on improving the shooting accuracy, discipline, and confidence of the reservists in handling fi****ms. These skills are recognized as key elements in ensuring the unit’s capability and readiness for deployment when called upon.

Notable participants in the successful drill included Sgt Lagria, Sgt Fernan B. Rivero, Pfc Jasmine D. Moleta, Pfc Roberto Caisio, Pfc Rosell Mutia, Pfc Michell Pagaduan, Pfc Harold Horida, Pfc John Rud Trazarez, Pfc Kan Maraat, Pvt Franco Altes, Pvt Shain Andre Socorro, and Pvt Rogel Eril.

The successful conduct of the live firing activity underscores the commitment of the reservist corps to uphold excellence, discipline, and preparedness in the service of the nation.

In Baan KM3, Agusan Del Norte on September 19 2025, 1st Agusan Del Norte Ready Reserve Artillery Battery (1ANRRAB)took part in the Proficiency Basic Firefighter Training conducted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) and facilitated under the leadership of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and readiness of participants in basic firefighting techniques, safety procedures, and proper response during fire emergencies. Reservists were given practical and theoretical instructions, which included:
-Familiarization with firefighting equipment and gear.
-Demonstration of fire suppression methods.
-Safety protocols and preventive measures.
-Hands-on exercises for effective fire response.

The activity successfully strengthened the capacity of the reservists to serve as force multipliers in times of disaster and emergency. It also fostered closer coordination between the CDRRMD, BFP, and the reserv3 command, ensuring a more unified and efficient disaster response system.

Butuan City, Agusan del Norte -- On 09 September 2025, the personnel of Headquarters, 4th Field Artillery (Strike From Afar) Battalion, led by MAJ WELSON M REDOBLE (ART) PA, Battalion Executive Officer, conducted a Battery Best Evaluation at Bravo Battery.

The activity primarily focused on the inspection of inventory documents as part of the ongoing evaluation for the 3rd Quarter Best Battery of 4FAB.

This initiative aims to strengthen operational readiness, maintain accountability, and foster unit excellence across all batteries of the battalion.
