VERUELA MAINTAINS STRONG PERFORMANCE IN NYC MONTHLY LGU STATUS REPORT
Veruela, Agusan del Sur – October 28, 2025

The Municipality of Veruela continues to demonstrate consistency and diligence in youth governance, based on the latest National Youth Commission (NYC) Monthly LGU Status Report for Agusan del Sur. The report shows that Veruela is among the few municipalities with complete submissions for the 4th Quarter of 2024, as well as the 1st and 2nd Quarters of 2025, reflecting the active coordination between the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) and the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation.

The recognition underscores the leadership of Mayor Salimar T. Mondejar, whose administration continues to empower the youth sector through accountability and timely compliance with NYC directives. This achievement also highlights the proactive efforts of the LYDO and LYDC Officers in ensuring that youth programs, activities, and meetings are properly documented and reported.

Veruela’s consistency in submission reaffirms its commitment to nurturing young leaders and sustaining transparent, participatory youth development initiatives across all barangays.

For new registration: one (1) valid ID (school ID, PhilSys, passport) or birth certificate
For reactivation: prior registration details or voter ID
For transfer: proof of new address (e.g., utility bill or lease)

Step 2️⃣: Go to Your Local COMELEC Office

Step 3️⃣: Fill Out the Appropriate Application Form
