On August 10 to 14, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office conducted a Weight and Measure Verification and Registration Caravan on Boracay Island.

Five fuel pump stations were verified and found to be dispensing the correct amount of fuel.

Various establishments, including government agencies, availed of the verification and registration services.

Establishments that use weighing and measuring equipment are encouraged to visit our office for the verification and registration of their equipment. Failure to comply will result in penalties once an inspection is conducted.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION ACTIVITY
(MAINLAND)
July 27-August 1, 2026
Caticlan, Malay Public Market

The Office of the Municipal Treasurer successfully conducted the registration and verification of weight and measuring equipment for seven (7) fuel stations and various business establishments located in mainland Malay from July 27 to August 1, 2026.

We are pleased to report that all seven (7) fuel stations successfully passed the verification process.

For other types of weighing and measuring equipment—such as digital, spring, and balance scales—a total of 184 units passed, while 9 units failed the verification.

All establishments that have not yet registered or verified their equipment are advised to visit our main office for proper registration and verification. Failure to comply may result in penalties and may place business operations at risk.
