Bahagi ng nagkakaisang layunin ng Sangguniang Bayan na magkaroon ng transparency at accountability at ayon sa Alaminos Transparency Ordinance, narito ang mga Ordinansang naipasa at naaprubahan sa taong 2024.

Ang pangunahing tungkulin ng Sangguniang Bayan ay gumawa ng mga lokal na batas o ordinansa para sa ikabubuti at ikauunlad ng Bayan.

Bahagi ng nagkakaisang layunin ng Sangguniang Bayan na magkaroon ng transparency at accountability, narito ang mga Ordinansang naipasa at naaprubahan simula taong 2022 hanggang kasalukuyan:

Legal basis:

WHEREAS, Section 447(a) Article III of the Local Government Code states that -
The Sangguniang Bayan, as the legislative body of the municipality, shall enact ordinances, approve resolutions and appropriate funds for the general welfare of the municipality and its inhabitants pursuant to Section 16 of this Code and in the proper exercise of the corporate powers of the municipality as provided for under Section 22 of this Code, and shall:

(1) Approve ordinances and pass resolutions necessary for an efficient and effective municipal government.

Pursuant to our sworn duty, the following is the list of approved Ordinances and Proposed/Pending Ordinances.

The general public may request for a copy of the said Ordinances in accordance with Section 10 and 11 of the Alaminos Transparency Ordinance.

𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗦 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗘

The Public Information Office (PIO) is the communications arm of the Municipal Government of Alaminos.

In line with the LGU's pursuit of transparency, accountability, modernity, and participatory governance, the Alaminos PIO Page serves as the OFFICIAL AND ONLY SOURCE OF RELEVANT INFORMATION on the Municipal Government’s various programs and projects among its constituents.

This page will allow Alaminos citizens to exercise their right to access government-held information as it empowers citizen participation in demanding for transparency and accountability from the local government.

The effective functioning of our local government is dependent on the participation of a well-informed community. It is time for Alaminos to shift the paradigm and put the citizens at the heart of public administration.

WHEREAS, Section 447(a) Article III of the Local Government Code states that -

The Sangguniang Bayan, as the legislative body of the municipality, shall enact ordinances, approve resolutions and appropriate funds for the general welfare of the municipality and its inhabitants pursuant to Section 16 of this Code and in the proper exercise of the corporate powers of the municipality as provided for under Section 22 of this Code, and shall:

Ngayong araw ay nagkaroon ng Pampublikong Pagdinig kung saan tinalakay ang bagong taripa kasama ang mga kinatawan ng TODA, CSOs, at ating mga kababayan.

Napagusapan ang minimum fare per TODA at fare discounts na kung saan pinakinggan natin ang suwestyon at komento ng lahat ng nakiisa sa pagpupulong.

Please be informed that the Sangguniang Bayan of Alaminos will be conducting a Public Consultation/Hearing on March 10, 2023 (Friday) for the TRICYCLE FARE MATRIX ORDINANCE.

In this regard, the Sangguniang Bayan would like to invite your presence on the said date to discuss and deliberate the said Ordinance before its approval.

The Freedom of Information Program Management Office (FOI-PMO) has been invited by the Sangguniang Bayan ng Alaminos, Laguna last December 7, 2022, as Resource Speakers for their 2nd Public Hearing on the proposed Alaminos Transparency Ordinance.

Drafted by Councilor Janis Angela Jaron Ilagan, the Alaminos Transparency Ordinance seeks to institutionalize a more Transparent and Accountable Municipal Government. “The right to information should not be limited to the Executive Branch it should also be exercised in our Local Government as well,” Councilor Ilagan emphasized during the public hearing.
