Layunin ng pagsasanay na higit pang mapaunlad ang kaalaman, kakayahan, at kasanayan ng mga participants sa pagsusulat.

The Local Government Unit of Alaminos extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Science City of Muñoz, led by Mayor Armi Lazaro Alvarez, together with City Councilor Dr. Carmelita J. Umagat, Chief of Staff - City Information Officer Shiela S. Umagat, CDRRM Officer Engr. Randy G. Baldedara, and their respective personnel, for choosing our city as their benchmarking destination.

We are honored to share our best practices and innovative approaches in strengthening public service delivery, disaster risk reduction and management, emergency preparedness, and strategic communication initiatives. Through this meaningful exchange of knowledge and experiences, the visit further reinforces our shared commitment to responsive governance, collaboration, and continuous improvement for the benefit of our communities.

The Local Government Unit of Alaminos City warmly welcomed the members of the Sangguniang Bayan and Office Heads of the Municipality of Caba, La Union, together with DOST Ilocos Region – DOST La Union Provincial Director Jonathan M. Viernes, during their benchmarking visit here.

The activity served as a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, innovative strategies, and successful initiatives in agricultural development, livestock management, and food processing facilities, further strengthening collaboration among local government units in promoting a more productive, resilient, and sustainable agricultural sector.

City Mayor Arth Bryan C. Celeste ably represented by Assistant City Administrator Atty. Odyssa Anne S. Bengson extended his full support to the 1st-ever Pangasinan State University Summer Camp 2026 "Promoting Skills in Unlimited Reading and Numeracy Program".

The two-day activity, organized by PSU-Alaminos City Campus in partnership with the Schools Division Office-Alaminos City and the Office of Congressman, Arthur F. Celeste, aims to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy skills among young learners in Alaminos City, with the support of local our government leaders and educational institutions.

Bilang bahagi ng kanilang commitment sa pagpapalakas sa sektor ng agrikultura sa ating lungsod, nagsagawa ng courtesy call ang mga opsiyal at kinatawan ng Department of Agriculture - Philippine Rice Research Institute (DA-PhilRice) sa ating butihing Mayor Arth Bryan C. Celeste kung saan kanilang ipresenta ang iba't ibang programa at serbisyong maaaring makatulong sa mga lokal na magsasaka at sa pagpapaunlad ng produksyon ng palay sa ating lungsod.

Naging mas makabuluhan ang pagpupulong sa pagtalakay ng mga posibleng pakikipagtulungan sa pagitan ng PhilRice at pamahalaang lungsod at pagsasakatuparan ng nga inisyatiba na magbibigay ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa kaunlaran ng sektor ng agrikultura.

LOOK: Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) President, Ma'am Melody M. Del Rosario personally handed over the P 100,000 check to City Mayor Arth Bryan C. Celeste as the city government’s incentive for being recognized as the 2026 Most Outstanding Shore It Up (SIU) Weekend Partner Site.

Shore It Up is MPIF’s very noble and flagship annual coastal and marine conservation initiative. This year's SIU Weekend which is the biggest thus far, is anchored on the theme “One Hour for the Planet, One Weekend for our Shores.

Alaminos City bested seven other partner sites across the country for its engaging Earth Hour program that encouraged environmental awareness and impactful coastal, island and underwater clean-ups, and tree planting activity at Bued Mangrove Forest Park, where one of MPIF’s legacy projects, the Mangrove Propagation and Information Center was established and serves as wonderful facility that protects, propagates and rehabilitates different species of mangroves.

Also stood out during the SIU Weekend was the city’s remarkable on-ground and online campaign efforts, having engaged various civil society organizations to take part in the worthy activities, the distribution of tumblers to participants to promote sustainable habits and the Alaminians’ warmth and utmost commitment in extending their share in sustaining the city’s environmental protection, conservation and rehabilitation initiatives.

Mayor Arth Bryan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Ms. Del Rosario, the whole MPIF family and the MVP Group of Companies headed by Chairman, President and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan for the meaningful recognition and for all the huge support and valuable assistance it has extended to the city government and to his citymates all these years.

MPIF President Del Rosario noted that the city deserves the recognition for levelling up its SUI Weekend activities as well as the experience of the participants even as she assured that MPIF remains to be it’s strong and reliable partner in its environmental conservation efforts and in creating positive change in our communities.

Isinagawa ngayong araw ang 2nd Quarter Meeting ng City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) at City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) upang talakayin ang mga updates, programs, at initiatives para sa pagpapanatili ng peace and order at pagpapalakas ng kampanya laban sa iligal na droga sa lungsod.

Kabilang sa mga tinalakay ang Accomplishment Reports ng mga miyembro, Department of Interior and Local Government issuances, upcoming activities, at proposed resolutions.

Sa inisyatibo ng Rotary Club of Bolinao sa pangunguna ni Club President Efren Orozco, kasama ang opisina ni City Councilor Jan Marionne R. Fontelera, 1st District of Pangasinan Congressman Arthur F. Celeste, Lokal na Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Alaminos sa pangunguna ni Mayor Arth Bryan C. Celeste, Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center, Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pangasinan, at Abono Party List, matagumpay na naisagawa ang Free Eye, Dental, and Medical Mission na ginanap sa Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center ngayong araw.

Nakibahagi rin sa programa ang Philippine Red Cross Western Pangasinan Chapter at Alaminos City Bahaghari Association.

Layunin nito na maihatid ang iba’t ibang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa ating komunidad, bilang patunay ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng mga ahensya at organisasyon para sa pangangalaga ng ating kalusugan at mas maayos na pamayanan.
