The Public Employment Service Office of Malinao conducted a coordination meeting with our BESOs together with PESO Manager Andrie Philip C. Albaniel and TUPAD Program Focal Mark Joas C. Angulo for the implementation of the TUPAD AbacaBayanihan Program in Malinao.

Anchored on the vision of Mayor Sheryl P. Capus-Bilo to create sustainable and community-based employment opportunities this initiative highlights the importance of strengthening the abaca industry as Malinao holds one of the largest abaca land areas in Albay.

Participating barangays include Bagatangki, Bulang, Soa, Sugcad, Malolos, Matalipni, Ogob, Diaro, Tagoytoy and Tanawan โ€” communities with strong potential in abaca production and livelihood development.

Through strengthened coordination and collaboration, the program aims to support our abaca farming communities, generate livelihood opportunities and further promote agricultural development in the municipality.
