Joroan High School conducted the 1st Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 today on March 12,2026.
The drill featured a realistic injury and casualty simulation to strengthen our emergency response skills. From the โDuck, Cover, and Holdโ procedure to evacuation, first aid response, and coordination with the Tiwi MDRRMO, School Emergency Response Team, every step was carried out with discipline and urgency.
Through this simulation, our students and staff gained hands-on experience in responding calmly, acting quickly, and prioritizing safety during emergencies. Drills like this remind us that readiness is not optionalโit is essential.
A heartfelt thank you to our student volunteers, and emergency responders, faculty and staff and to the Tiwi MDRRMO for making this activity successful.
Stay alert. Stay prepared. Stay safe. ๐ซ๐จ
