June 5, 2026 | The Santa Filomena National High School (SFNHS) Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) showed their service in helping to maintain a clean school environment by actively participating in Brigada Eskwela 2026.

This is a hallmark, as this is the first time that the Girl Scouts, together with the school's Girl Scout alumni, joined Brigada Eskwela as one organized group. This was facilitated by the GSP Coordinator, Mrs. Shied Alicaway, and Ms. Liezel Tangaro, with the guidance and support of the School Principal, Mr. Paul B. Durangparang.

The Girl Scouts not only showed sisterhood but also enthusiastically took part in cleaning different areas of the campus. Their spirit of volunteerism in preparing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for the Filomenian students for the upcoming opening of classes greatly contributed to the shared success of the school's Brigada Eskwela program.

Their participation emphasized that the girls truly embodied the Girl Scouts Law while inspiring fellow Filomenian students to take an active role in caring for their school's environment.
