Launched in 2018, the Rivers for Life Awards has recognized 30 outstanding rivers in different regions of the country. The program aims:
๐งTo raise awareness on the need to protect and conserve the countryโs rivers as the lifeblood of the Earth and human civilization, and
๐งTo tap concerted action to protect the countryโs rivers from degradation and pollution, and assure their suitability, sustainability, and further improvement for their designated use or classification.
The recognition awards are open to all incumbent Supervising and Implementing Provincial Environmental and Natural Resources Officers (PENROs) together with their respective Community Environmental and Natural Resources Officers (CENROs).
This year the top five (5) Finalists are as follows:
1. Alimit River -CAR
2. Talisay River โ Region 3
3. Polangui River โ Region 5
4. Sapu Masla River โ Region 12
5. Tandag River โ Region 13
A National Committee on the Search for (R.I.V.E.Rs) for Life Award has been created to assess and validate the regional entries. Entries are assessed based on the following (1) Water Quality Improvement; (2) Solid Waste Management and (3) Program Sustainability.

Arbor Day in the Philippines is a nationwide celebration, officially observed every June 25 by virtue of Proclamation No. 643 that amended Proclamation No. 396, s. 2003.

REPOST: The Alfonso Lista Sector conducted LAWIN foot patrol last January 8 and 16, 2025 with the distance of 9.20 kilometers at the Forest Conservation Area covering the Barangays of Sto. Domingo and Caragasan, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.

๐๐๐๐ joined the national simultaneous kick off for the observance of Fire Prevention Month 2025 through a motorcade caravan with the Theme: "Sa pag-iwas sa sunog hindi ka nag-iisa".
The activity aim's to raise awareness about fire safety hazards, educate the public on preventative measures and promote preparedness for fire emergencies by teaching people how to respond appropriately in case of fire.
Mayoyao Sector conducted LAWIN foot patrol on February 20, 2025. The Team started patrolling at Chaya view deck going to the Forest Conservation Area and some part of Brgy. Inwaloy and ended at Brgy. Mapawoy.
