𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭, 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲-𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧! 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On April 25, 2026, members of The Riverside Chronicles participated in Sulat, Kagay-anon!: A community writing and zine-making workshop for students, held at the City Museum of Cagayan de Oro.

Organized in celebration of National Literature Month, the one-day seminar-workshop was spearheaded by the Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro (NAGMAC) in partnership with the City Museum of Cagayan de Oro and the Heritage Studies Center. The event gathered selected senior high school and college students across the city to explore writing as a tool for self-expression, cultural preservation, and community storytelling.

Through guided activities, participants created their own zines and engaged in collaborative discussions that highlighted the value of local narratives, lived experiences, and creative voice.

As the workshop concluded, participants carried with them new insights and inspiration to further develop their craft and contribute meaningfully to student journalism and storytelling.

This soul-stirring event is more than just a musical performance; it is a triumphant celebration of our students' passion, resilience, and unwavering spirit as we honor our school's vibrant history and community. Join us at the ANCHS Covered Court on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. for an afternoon filled with inspiration and melody. We invite the entire ANCHS family and the wider Alubijid community to witness this spectacular musical treat and support our talented vocalists as they share their love for the arts during this special foundation celebration.
