“No Work, No Pay rule applies on February 25 — DOLE

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reminds private sector employees that the “No Work, No Pay” rule applies on February 25, 2026 in line with the celebration of EDSA People Power Revolution. PBBM declared said day as “special working day.”

The DOLE said that it shall be considered as an ordinary working day for the purpose of payment of wages and wage-related benefits unless there is a collective bargaining agreement or a company policy granting payment on this day if the employee did not report to work.

• SK Chairperson

Appointive Officials
• Barangay Secretary
• Barangay Treasurer
(dapat appointed ng duly elected Punong Barangay)

⏳ SERVICE REQUIREMENT
• Nakatapos ng isang buong termino, o
• Kabuuang 5 taon ng serbisyo (pwedeng pinagsama-samang termino kung hindi natapos ang isang full term)

✔️ Duly accomplished BOE Application Form (CSC Form 101-E)
✔️ Certification of Services Rendered (galing sa authorized DILG Municipal/City Office)
✔️ Oath of Office o Election Returns
✔️ PSA/NSO Birth Certificate (authenticated copy)
✔️ Affidavit of Non-Employment
(notarized; nagpapatunay na hindi employed sa ibang government office habang nagseserbisyo bilang barangay official)

⚠️ PAALALA PARA SA APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS

Ang Barangay Secretary at Treasurer ay HINDI dapat kamag-anak ng appointing Punong Barangay hanggang ika-4 na degree ng consanguinity o affinity.

📝 STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS (MADALI LANG)

1️⃣ Kumpletuhin ang BOE Application Form (101-E)
2️⃣ Humingi ng Certification of Services Rendered sa DILG (City/Municipal)
3️⃣ Ihanda ang lahat ng supporting documents
4️⃣ Mag-file ng application sa CSC Field Office na may jurisdiction
5️⃣ Hintayin ang release ng Certificate of Eligibility
