Today we commemorate the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial. It is an annual, community-led grassroots campaign held every third Sunday of May. It is dedicated to honoring those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses, standing in solidarity with People Living with HIV (PLHIV), and raising global awareness to break down stigma. As a community, ASDGES teaching and non-teaching personnel are one in supporting this advocacy.

Learning continues this summer at ARAL Remediation Program. Teacher-tutors consistently dedicate their time and effort in improving the learner's literacy and numeracy skills with the aid of learning resources provided while also utilizing effective existing teaching materials.

PSDS Mr. Guillermo J. Flores, EdD, assisted by Mrs. Teresita V. Flores, our school head, dropped by and monitored the ongoing program facilitated by our teacher-tutors. ARAL scholars continue to show their eagerness to learn and improve their literacy and numeracy skills. The 20-day program started last May 6, 2026.
