In accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 1264, the observance of Eid'l Adha is celebrated today, May 27, 2026.

Also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” Eid'l Adha is one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic calendar, commemorating the values of faith, devotion, obedience, compassion, and selflessness. This sacred celebration serves as a reminder of the importance of generosity, gratitude, and unity within communities.

May this blessed occasion bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to all and inspire us to strengthen the bonds of understanding, respect, and harmony with one another.

✨ Celebrating Filipino Heritage Through Dance ✨

The 44th National Folk Dance Workshop, held at the Iloilo Sports Complex Covered Gym from May 17–23, 2026, became a meaningful gathering of dance educators, performers, cultural workers, and artists committed to preserving and promoting Philippine folk dance.

The workshop provided enriching discussions, cultural exchanges, and inspiring performances that deepened the participants’ appreciation of Filipino traditions, creativity, and identity through movement and storytelling.

Despite minor challenges in time management and venue space during some activities, the event remained a remarkable experience that strengthened collaboration, learning, and cultural awareness among participants.

The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) officially welcomed its new BPE students through the Freshmen Orientation 2026 held at Bulwagang Angeleno. The event served as an opportunity for incoming BPE students to become familiar with the department’s mission, academic expectations, student services, and campus culture.

Through meaningful discussions and presentations, freshmen were guided toward a strong start in their academic journey while being encouraged to embody discipline, leadership, professionalism, and excellence as future educators and sports professionals.
