Please be informed of NDRRMC Memorandum No. 279, s. 2025 titled *Urgent – Intensified Earthquake Disaster Prevention, Infrastructure Audit and Retrofitting; Preparedness Measures; and Misinformation Control.*

All LGUs and agencies are enjoined to:
✅ Intensify earthquake preparedness and conduct regular drills (Drop–Cover–Hold On, evacuation, etc.)
✅ Conduct infrastructure audits and prioritize retrofitting of critical facilities (schools, hospitals, bridges, evacuation centers)
✅ Designate temporary service facilities to ensure continuity of operations
✅ Ensure public information control – share only verified advisories from DOST-PHIVOLCS and NDRRMC/OCD
✅ Integrate earthquake resilience measures into DRRM plans and activities

The celebration aims to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being in support of DepEd six flagship health programs: Medical, Dental, and Nursing Services; School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP); WASH in Schools (Wins);
Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) ; National Drug Education Program (NDEP) ; and Mental Health.
