WHAT: FREE ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION FOR DOGS & CATS; &
50 SLOTS for CASTRATION FOR PUSPIN AND ASPIN ONLY🐕🦺🐈⬛️🐱🐶
WHEN: March 16 | 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: TIRIPUNAN, BUSINESS PARK, SAN JOSE, ANTIQUE
In celebration of Rabies Awareness Month, the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT of SAN JOSE de BUENAVISTA headed by our Municipal Mayor Atty PJ Nicopior Untaran, through the Municipal Agriculture Office, in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian and CLARS Foundation, owned by Clarisa Decena Castro, will offer a free anti-rabies for dogs and cats and castration for puspins and aspins only.
The minimum requirements for ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION FOR ALL DOGS AND CATS are as follows:
1. Cats or Dogs must be 3 months old and above;
2. Must be healthy and no signs of illness; and
3. No recent bite incident prior to vaccination.
The minimum requirements for CASTRATION OF PUSPINS AND ASPINS are as follows:
1. Age & weight – at least 4-6 months old and healthy weight;
2. Fasting required – 8-10 hours no food before surgery (water is allowed);
3. Clean & calm – bathe a day before if possible; bring with leash or carrier;
2. Vaccinated against rabies; and
3. Healthy and no signs of illness.

LGU San Jose and the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, headed by our MA, Madelyn A. Pagunsan, and livestock technician, John Philip Vicente, and its team conducted a house-to-house anti-rabies vaccination, veterinary drugs distribution for poultry and livestock, PCIC insurance, and issuance of credentials of livestock at Brgy. Bariri, San Jose, Antique, July 08,2025.
