Despite the pouring rain, the spirit of celebration, faith, and community shined brightly in Barangay Funda Dalipe, San Jose, Antique as the Little Miss Funda Dalipe pageant gracefully unfolded as part of the feast celebration of Sto. Rosario.
The weather may have tested the event, but the determination of the young candidates, the unwavering support of their families, and the enthusiasm of the crowd proved that no rain can dampen the joy of this cherished tradition. With confidence, charm, and radiant smiles, these little queens captivated hearts and showcased the beauty, talent, and promise of the youth of Funda Dalipe.
Congratulations to all the winners, candidates, organizers, and supporters who made this memorable event possible. Your dedication and perseverance turned a rainy day into a celebration filled with inspiration, faith, and community pride.

Determination, endurance, and adventure filled the mountain roads of Antique as cyclists gathered for the annual Aningalan Ascent organized by the Antique Mountain Bikers Association (AMBA).
Starting from Guinsang-an, Hamtic, riders pedaled their way to the scenic highlands of Aningalan, San Remigio, conquering steep climbs and winding roads on their mountain bikes. Open to all cycling enthusiasts, not just Antiqueรฑos, the event welcomed participants united by their passion for biking and the outdoors.
Rain or shine, the ascent continued with riders pushing forward despite the challenging conditions. Midway through the climb to Aningalan, San Remigio, heavy rain poured down, adding an extra test of determination and resilience as cyclists navigated the wet roads and continued their journey to the summit.
In an impressive display of strength and perseverance, many riders reached the summit in less than two hours, earning breathtaking views and the satisfaction of completing one of Antiqueโs most exciting cycling challenges.
More than just a ride, the Aningalan Ascent celebrates camaraderie, healthy living, and the natural beauty that makes Antique a destination for adventure seekers.

On the final day of exploring the beautiful province of Antique, Miss BB GandangHari experienced another unforgettable adventure, this time at the peaceful coastal waters of Calawag Sea Fishing in Barangay Lapaz, Tibiao, Antique. ๐๐ฃ
Surrounded by the calming beauty of the sea, Miss BB experienced traditional fishing with the locals, embracing the simple yet meaningful way of life by the ocean. From casting nets to enjoying the refreshing seawater, the experience became a perfect reminder of how beautiful and genuine life in Antique truly is. ๐

The adventure continued with a relaxing swim by the sea before heading to Kyfferโs Food Hub for a delicious breakfast to end the journey with good food, laughter, and unforgettable memories. ๐ณโ๐ด
From the breathtaking mountains, foggy landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, and relaxing resorts, to the rich culture, thrilling adventures, and warm hospitality of the people, Antique once again proved why it is one of the hidden gems of the Philippines. ๐

Meet Mdpn. Ram Angelo T. Escander
From the proud community of Brgy. Mojon, San Jose, Antique rises a young man whose journey is built on discipline, leadership, perseverance, and excellence, Mdpn. Ram Angelo T. Escander, a future maritime professional, taekwondo athlete, and student leader making Antique proud on and off the mat.
Born to SFO2 Ramil B. Escander and Emelle T. Escander, Ram Angelo continues to prove that success is achieved through hard work, courage, and determination. Currently taking up Classroom Completion Instruction (CCI) leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Maritime Transportation at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University in Iloilo City, he has become one of the institutionโs most respected student leaders and athletes.
Beyond academics, Ram Angelo found his passion in Taekwondo, where he developed the discipline and fighting spirit that shaped his character. Through years of dedication and sacrifice, he earned remarkable achievements in regional competitions, including being crowned ILOPRISAA 2026 Gold Medalist in Taekwondo Kyurugi, WVPRISAA 2026 Silver Medalist, ILOPRISAA 2024 Silver Medalist, and multiple bronze medals in Poomsae competitions.
His leadership journey is equally inspiring. He served as SEC Senator, SEC Senate President, and currently as SEC-CME Governor. Within the Vanguards Society, he rose from Assistant Secretary General to Secretary General and now serves as President. He also became Vice President of DRRU and eventually Head of the Search and Rescue Unit, while simultaneously leading as Team Captain of the JBLFMU Taekwondo Team from 2023 to 2026.
Because of his commitment to excellence, Ram Angelo received numerous honors and recognitions including Most Outstanding Student in Co-Curricular Activities, Athlete of the Year for Taekwondo, SSG Exemplary Service Awardee, Vanguards Society Exemplary Service Awardee, and multiple Academic Excellence Awards from 2023 to 2026. He was also recognized as a semi-finalist in The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Awards (TOSIA), proving his impact both academically and in leadership.
His achievements were further supported through scholarships he earned through dedication and merit, including being a 100% Sports Scholar in Taekwondo, 100% Student Aide Scholar, 50% Academic Scholar, and a Company Sponsored Scholar under Bouvet Shipping Management Corporation.
Despite the many accomplishments, Ram Angelo remains grounded in the values he strongly believes in, Integrity, Perseverance, Excellence, Discipline, and Godliness, principles that continue to guide his journey toward becoming a future maritime leader.
As part of Class Sinagtala of 2026, D/C Ram Angelo T. Escander stands as a shining example of what the youth of Antique can achieve through passion, service, and unwavering determination. His story continues to inspire fellow students, athletes, and future leaders to dream bigger and rise higher.

Our journey continued at the breathtaking Aningalan's Highland Strawberry Garden, where the scenic mountain views, rolling fogs, and beautiful clouds surrounded the area with pure serenity. As the rain gently poured, the sunset painted the skies with stunning colors, creating a rare and unforgettable moment in the heart of Antique. ๐ง๏ธ๐
After a peaceful mountain escape, we headed to MonteValle Resort for dinner and an overnight stay. As night fell, nature once again amazed us as lightning illuminated the skies, adding a dramatic yet beautiful touch to the evening, a moment that truly made Miss BiBi fall even more in love with Antique. โก๐๏ธ
Antique is truly a paradise where nature speaks through every fog, rain, sunset, and mountain view. And when nature decides to showcase its beauty, you will witness moments exactly like these. ๐
Before we continued our adventure to Tibiao the next day, we took time to appreciate the peaceful beauty and unforgettable experiences Antique has to offer.
