CONGRATULATIONS PATNONGANON WVRAA 2025 ATHLETES!

The entire Municipality of Patnongon is truly proud of our athletes who gave their might and poured out their best effort during the recently concluded Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet 2025. To all the Patnonganon Athletes, supportive Parents, Coaches and Teachers, HATS OFF TO ALL OF YOU!

During the provincial meet, our LGU headed by Mayor Johnnyflores S. Bacongallo gave support to our delegation and during this regional athletic meet, they all represented Antique very well, especially our medalists in various sports.

Mr. John Rey Salvacion of St. Augustine's Academy of Patnongon Inc won BRONZE in Badminton Secondary Boys (Singles). The ladies of Aureliana National High School achieved the SILVER medal in Basketball 3X3 Girls (Secondary). MR. NELSON MAGBANUA JR of Aureliana National High School will represent Western Visayas in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Ilocos Norte as he won the GOLD Medal in Pencak Silat. Sagad sagad guid kamo! Sa liwat, CONGRATULATIONS!

Our ANHS WVT girls are ready to face LMENHS WVT in the much-anticipated volleyball championship on October 1, 2024, at 4:30 PM at the Municipal Gymnasium. After all the hard work they’ve put in, let's show them our unwavering support that they deserve! Let’s fill the gym with vision of winning and make sure our cheers are the strongest and loudest!

KabalANHS, this is our moment! Ready those energetic chants and let’s fill the gym with ANHS pride! Together, we can create an atmosphere and set the mood that will push our girls to victory. Let’s make history by helping ANHS WVT bring home that championship title! 💪

KON SUSPENDED, BE REMINDED:

📍Class Suspension due to unfavorable weather is NOT A HOLIDAY. Stay indoors to stay safe! Duro gasirinadya kay nag-announce ron kang suspension, ang iba nagadali pa. Remember, less school days, less time for face-to-face learning.
📍Para mangin safe, indi maglagaw bisan gasirak ron ang adlaw. Kis-a wara naga dayon ang weather forecast kay forecast gani, pero ang atun weather, indi mo guid mapaktan. Basi dali lang nag sirak ang adlaw, guwa kaw dayon kag mag lagaw tapos ang uran gulpi man nag-hataw, kundi wawaw!
📍Suspensions due to natural calamities are not the best time to celebrate! Amu nga ga-suspend kay may impending unfortunate event, and indi natun like ang natural calamity so why celebrate?
📍Suspension of classes because of bad weather is the LGU’s way to keep everyone, especially our students, SAFE. Wara gina announce ang suspension kay trip lang o kon bangud para makasunod sa iba, gina- analyze ria kag ginanilagan ang panahon kag current situation. Once assessed nga dapat mag-suspend ang klase amu palang ria ang pag- announce.

👍Take this extra day to bond with the family at home or maybe teach the kids some household work. Some may be rejoicing because of class suspension pero may nagapangasubo kay sayud ang nangin sitwasyon nanda tungod sa kalamidad. Be sensitive naman!
