๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: Personnel from the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cagayan, together with CGSS Buguey, CGWEISC-NELZN, and other OPCON units, extended manpower assistance to the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) during the hauling and repacking of 3,000 relief packs at the Sub-Capitol, Lal-lo, Cagayan.

The relief items included rice, assorted canned goods, noodles, biscuits, 3-in-1 coffee, fortified milk, bottled water, and other essential commodities, all intended for distribution to affected communities within the province. The team also assisted in loading 369 gallons of mineral water bound for Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

This collaborative effort showcases the bayanihan spirit and strong inter-agency coordination between the Philippine Coast Guard and partner agencies in delivering timely assistance to our fellow Cagayanos.๐Ÿ’™

๐‹๐จ๐จ๐ค: CGS Cagayan together with CGDNELZN personnel, Sea Marshal-NELZN, CBRNU-NELZN personnel and CSU OJT Students conducted the hauling of (1,500) PAGCOR food items and (1,500) PAGCOR non-food items at Toran Wharf today, October 4, 2025. These relief goods are bound for Calayan Island, which was heavily affected by Typhoon Nando.

This effort reflects the Coast Guardโ€™s mission of serviceโ€”ensuring that aid and support reach even the farthest communities in times of need. โš“๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

The Philippine Coast Guard โ€“ Coast Guard Station Cagayan announces the lifting of the temporary suspension of voyages for all types of vessels and watercrafts within its area of responsibility. Normal operations may now resume following the lifting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 by PAGASA.

โš“ All vessels are reminded to strictly adhere to maritime safety laws and requirements to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and cargo at all times.

๐Ÿšข CGS Cagayan Assists Red Cross in Humanitarian Mission to Calayan Island ๐ŸŒŠ

CGS Cagayan, together with HCGDNELZN personnel and Opcon Units, extended manpower assistance to the Philippine Red Cross in the loading and unloading of vital relief goods at MV Eagle Ferry in Toran Wharf, Aparri, Cagayan, today October 4, 2025.

Cargo included:
๐Ÿ“ฆ 100 boxes of Hygiene Kits
๐Ÿ”ง 200 boxes of Shelter Tool Kits
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ 100 boxes of Kitchen Sets
๐Ÿ•๏ธ 6 Tarpaulins

These supplies are bound for Calayan Island as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts for the victims of Super Typhoon NANDO.
MV Eagle Ferry is on standby and will depart once weather conditions permit.

๐Ÿšจ CGS Cagayan and CGDNELZN DRG Team Alpha & Bravo in Action ๐Ÿšจ

Amid the implementation of the "No Sail" policy over the Cagayan River due to TS "Paolo", CGS Cagayan, together with CGDNELZN DRG Teams Alpha and Bravo, provided land transport assistance to 26 stranded passengersโ€”20 from Dappa Wharf, Brgy. Centro 15, and 6 from Toran Wharfโ€”all bound for Aparri West, Cagayan.

The initiative ensured the safe transfer of affected individuals as water travel remains restricted from Aparri East to Aparri West.
