27 freshmen contestants from ASC Luna and Conner Campus showcased their statistical skills as part of the 37th National Statistics Month celebration.

👏 Kudos to all participants and winners who will carry the Apayao banner in the Regional PSQ on 14 October 2026!

PSA Apayao successfully conducted the 30th Philippine Statistics Quiz – Provincial Elimination today, 06 October 2026, at the RDE Conference Hall, Apayao State College, Luna, as part of the 37th National Statistics Month celebration.

The Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) is an annual competition for college freshmen nationwide, designed to test their statistical proficiency and promote appreciation of statistics among the youth. This year’s provincial elimination gathered 27 contestants from ASC Luna and Conner Campus.

🚩✨ Kickoff of the 37th National Statistics Month ✨🚩

On October 1, 2026, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Apayao, together with partner agencies, proudly launched this year’s NSM celebration. The day began with a motorcade around town, symbolizing unity and collective support for statistics.

Following the motorcade, an Opening Program was held at the PSA Apayao Office, where the official theme “Tuklas Pilipinas: Statistics as Beacon Towards Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Tourism” was highlighted. This year’s theme emphasizes the vital role of statistics in guiding the tourism sector towards sustainability, inclusivity, and resilience—ensuring that tourism not only promotes destinations but also protects heritage, uplifts communities, and contributes to long‑term development.

The kickoff activities set the tone for a month‑long celebration dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of statistics as a powerful tool for progress.
