The Municipal Government of Araceli, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Social Security System Puerto Princesa Branch, strengthens its commitment to the welfare of all employees, including Job Order (JO) and Contract of Service (COS) personnel.

Starting May 2026, the implementation of the KaltaSSS-Collect Program—a salary deduction scheme designed to ensure consistent and convenient contributions—will officially take effect. Through this program, Job Order (JO) and Contract of Service (COS) workers will gain better access to SSS coverage and benefits such as sickness, maternity, disability, retirement, and funeral assistance, helping secure not only their future but also that of their families.

This initiative reflects our continued dedication to building a more secure, supported, and empowered workforce in service to the people of Araceli.

TIPID TIPID SA GITNA NG KRISIS — Lokal na pamahalaan ng Araceli, magpapatupad ng pagtitipid sa gitna ng krisis

Magpapatupad ng “austerity measures” ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Araceli upang higpitan ang gastusin at matiyak na mapupunta ang pondo sa mga programang direktang makikinabang ang mga residente, ayon kay Mayor Sue S. Cudilla.

Ipinatupad ang Executive Order No. 26, Series of 2026, na nagbabawal sa anumang luho at hindi kinakailangang gastos sa lahat ng departamento. “Austerity muna tayo sa ngayon, sana naiintindihan naman ng lahat, okay naman po. Hindi pa po mararamdaman sa ngayon, bago pa kasi, ako naman nakikiramdam naman po,” ayon kay Cudilla.

Binigyang-diin ng alkalde na sa gitna ng fuel crisis at hamon sa ekonomiya, ang bawat sentimong matitipid sa kuryente, papel, at travel ay magsisilbing dagdag pondo para sa mga priority development programs ng mga pamilyang taga-Araceli.

Nagbabala rin siya sa mga opisina na hindi susunod sa bagong polisiya. “Mako-callout naman ang attention nila pagka-ganun, although Executive order lang naman ito, syempre dadaan naman sa opisina ko ang mga vouchers and everything, machi-check pa rin talaga,” dagdag ni Cudilla.

Kasama sa mga patakaran ang limitasyon sa opisyal na biyahe, “spending cap” sa pagkain (₱200 kada meal at ₱75 para sa snacks), pagtigil sa pagbili ng mamahaling seminar kits at bags, at itinakdang oras ng paggamit ng aircon mula 9:00 AM hanggang 4:00 PM lamang. Target din ang 20% bawas sa paggamit ng papel sa pamamagitan ng digitalization at tamang paggamit ng mga sasakyan ng gobyerno.

Ayon sa Municipal Budget Office, inaasahang magdudulot ang mga hakbang na ito ng 10% hanggang 20% na kabuuang savings sa operasyon ng LGU. Magsasagawa rin ng quarterly monitoring ang Budget, Accounting, at Planning Office upang matiyak ang pagsunod ng lahat ng tanggapan sa bayan.
