π Help Save Bacoor's Mangroves and Marine Life! πΏ
Join us in a critical mission to protect Bacoor City's precious coastline from an impending environmental disaster. Due to the recent oil spill from M/T Terranova off Bataan, PAGASA warns that Bacoor Bay could be affected as soon as August 6, 2024. This catastrophe threatens not only our local fishing communities but also the mangrove forests nurtured by our city since 2007, crucial for marine habitats and storm defense.
In response, Bacoor's Office of Agricultural Service is urgently crafting improvised oil spill booms from recycled plastic bottles. Your support is vital now more than ever. Donate any used plastic bottles, regardless of size or color, at designated drop-off points starting August 5, 2024. Let's unite to safeguard our environment and livelihoods.
Act now to protect Bacoor's natural heritage and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Together, we can make a difference. Don't waitβmake your impact today!
