🇰🇷 2026 Minimum Wage – South Korea

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Announced by: Ministry of Employment and Labor (고용노동부) and HRDK (Human Resources Development Service of Korea)
Applicable to: All workers under the Employment Permit System (EPS), both local and foreign workers.

These wage rates are the legal minimum, meaning employers must not pay less than these amounts.

Applies to foreign workers under the EPS, including factory workers, hotel staff, caregivers, etc.

Workers are entitled to overtime pay and night shift differentials in addition to the basic wage.

Monthly salary may vary based on attendance, actual hours worked, and any deductions (taxes, insurance, dormitory fees, etc.)
