𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑, 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒

In line with the celebration of the 15th BJMP Community Relations Service (CRS) Month 2026, the Tarlac City Jail Female Dormitory, under the leadership of JSINSP ELVIRA S PANGILINAN, Acting City Jail Warden, participated in a lively Zumba Activity held at the Covered Court of Brgy. Baras-Baras, Tarlac City.

Together with the residents of Barangay Baras-Baras and HON. Malaya Hermoso, Barangay Kagawad, jail personnel joined the community in an energetic session promoting health, wellness, camaraderie, and positive community engagement.

Through activities like this, this unit continues to strengthen its partnership with the community and promote meaningful connections beyond the jail walls.

ＣＬＥＡＮＩＮＧ ＴＯＧＥＴＨＥＲ, ＢＵＩＬＤＩＮＧ Ａ ＳＡＦＥＲ ＣＯＭＭＵＮＩＴＹ!

In celebration of the 15th BJMP Community Relations Service (CRS) Month 2026, with the theme “Empowered Communicators, Engaged Public: Promoting Responsible Messaging in Jail Management,” personnel of this unit, led by JSINSP ELVIRA S PANGILINAN, Acting City Jail Warden, together with four (4) JO1 Trainees, conducted a Joint Clean-Up Drive in coordination with Hon. Malaya Hermoso, Barangay Kagawad of Brgy. Baras-Baras, Tarlac City.

The clean-up activity covered the area from Bloom Children’s Kindergarten and Nursery, passing through Purok Mapagmahal and Purok Matulungin, where scattered waste was collected and surrounding areas were cleaned.

More than keeping our surroundings clean, this initiative strengthened the partnership between the BJMP and the community, promoting shared responsibility, volunteerism, and a safer and cleaner environment for everyone.

In celebration of the 15th BJMP Community Relations Service Month 2026 with the theme: “𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑠, 𝐸𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑑 𝑃𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐: 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑀𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝐽𝑎𝑖𝑙 𝑀𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡.”, personnel of this unit led by JSINSP ELVIRA S PANGILINAN, Acting City Jail Warden, conducted a Penology Profession Information Drive for 130 Criminology students of Tarlac State University – College of Criminal Justice Education.

The activity highlighted the vital role of the BJMP in the Philippine Criminal Justice System, promoting public safety, human rights, reformative justice, and a career in jail service. Informative flyers on NTF-ELCAC, Anti-Drug, Anti-Smoking Campaign, and BJMP Recruitment were also distributed to the participants.

Empowering future criminologists, strengthening partnerships, and building a safer and more humane society.
